I've bought like 8 of these in the last six months and Everytime they're the same. great and great price . can't go wrong with it . theyre not the fanciest or whatever but I'm satisfied. trustworthy product. has never not fit a curtain or bracket and I have a variety. works great . you can use these in doorways and in closets for clothes too. nifty.

This is a great basic tension rod. It is not meant to hold heavy curtains, but it works perfectly for lightweight or basic curtains. One feature I really like is that if you twist the rod once it is in place, it tightens even more and can become quite secure. The simple appearance also blends well with any décor. I would definitely recommend these tension rods for anyone looking for an easy and affordable curtain solution.

The rod looks great and so far has held up curtains nicely. The only problem I had was I couldn't get the ends off to put the curtains on to save my life. Luckily my husband could but it wasn't easy. I'm glad they're secure but they could be a tad bit easier to get off! Of course not a problem if your curtains have larger holes!

i use these as adjustable poles for clamped shop lights for my indoor garden. they work perfectly, moveable, stay put when i have them in place one did arrive with a big scratch out of the coating which appeared to be a manufacturing oops, but didn't affect the purpose i use them for

We needed to replace older 48" shower curtain rod that after 39 years finally gave up. We searched Walmart (In-Store) for a new shower curtain rod and found this (not listed as shower rod) Mainstays bronze curtain tension rod at a good purchase price. Amazingly it was delivered on the same day we ordered it. When I opened the package the tension rod was very light weight, thinner than I thought it would be and I had my doubts it would hold the weight of our shower curtains, very easy to put up, and so far they are working well. I do not know if they will corrode over time but I want to give it a try anyway.

They seem sturdy and are holding the curtains up well. Be sure to measure your window frame before ordering, I could not find a measurement for the ends online, and they are over 1.5" in diameter. They hang over the edge of my window frame but seem pretty stable, it just doesn't look great.

No matter how tightly I twisted rods in to place one side would slide down. I had to go out and purchase hardware / brackets to hold the rods., the whole purpose of purchasing was not to put holes in the new wood trim. Well that's not what happened...

going to be returning this. Open it from the package, adjusted it onto, put it on the wall and the spring inside broke. or was already broken before I got it. But it doesn't do its job. unfortunately I have to return this. definitely wouldn't recommend spend the extra money and get a better quality one.

This rod stated “adjustable 30-52 inches” in the advertisement but please be aware this is false information because the rod does not adjust to between such measurements and it stays in one length which is too small for my door frame! Very disappointed I do not recommend. Will be returning.
