I love the play

Great movie for the whole family. The first 10 mins is better than the all 3 Twilight movies put together.

Discrepancies between the novel and the movie may be disappointing to some viewers, but the movie itself is very well made and acted. It's a fantasy genre with a slight dose of negative sentiment which could be considered politically motivated, but I don't find it exaggerated in any way. It's an enjoyable, high quality movie. I agree with other reviewer: it's much better than Twilight :-)

Wish the rest of the books were made too.

OK - I've read the book, so I'm definitely biased, but I'll try my best. I did enjoy the movie. Some of it was a bit much.. a little too flashy. I really enjoyed Ethan's character. I feel like he was one of the only characters who had a personality. It's safe for young teens (PG-13) and adults, I'm 29 and still liked it. BUT; if you've read the book, you'll be left feeling a little empty. There are a lot of things missing... the song, the real Keeper, etc. And the movie ends it. There are more books they could have carried it on with... but they did not.

Movie was entertaining and like when it comes with both Blu Ray and DVD, but disappointed that the digital code didn't work. I feel if they include digital codes that they should not have expiration dates.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Beautiful Creatures combo blu ray is what was ordered but received just the blu ray with a misleading slip cover. Item description is totally wrong. I ordered the combo pack with the blu ray, Dvd and digital discs. What I got was just the blu ray. Don't understand why they put a combo pack slip cover on a one disc item and advertised it as a combo pack. We saw the movie years ago and really liked the it that's why it was purchased. Yes the movie was cheap but why mislead your customers?? I have not opened it yet as I'm wondering if there really is a blu ray disc or is it a DVD in a blu ray case.

I've read all the books in this series, so this movie was a big disappointment!! Basically the only resemblence between the book, Beautiful Creatures, and this movie were the names of the characters. They distorted the story so badly that they eliminated any possibility of making movies of the other books. These books are a fabulous read but I don't recommend this movie.
