Behrens 31-Gallon Steel Trash Can

Awesome feed container added the tiedown strap and it holds two 44 pound feed bags with ease. I’m sure it will hold 100 pounds of feed. Critters can’ chew their way in through the Steel. The lid almost seems airtight. Can’t beat it for $30.

Bought it on sale at Walmart, better price than Home Depot and Amazon. I'm using it as a replacement for an old tote bin that was breaking down to keep the critters out of the garbage. It is strong, thick and galvanized steel, and the lid can be clamped on. I am satisfied and the critters have moved on.

Good price! It's steel and the lid fits tight. I bought it to put my 40lb bags of bird seed in to keep the squirrels out. I leave my garage door open some and have for years for my outdoor cat. The squirrels suddenly discovered the food inside. They had chewed a big hole in my heavy plastic container. And a hole in a bag of food sitting out. The steel can is working great!

I love this garbage can. I have a medium sized one and a large sized one. It's especially useful for all of my squirrels. They love to try to get into wherever the food is and eat as much as they want. I would rather they didn't. I put all of my sunflower seeds and any other item I'm giving to them for food and put the cover on. I know the can will keep the food safe. I also have raccoons and possums in my backyard at night and try as they might to get to the seeds, they can't open the lid.

Purchased so I can keep black oil sunflower seeds for the birds in bulk. I keep it outdoors on the patio and didn't want critters gnawing through a plastic tote, so I opted for this steel trash can instead, and it's working well. The squirrels sit on the lid in the early morning waiting for me to open it up, but they haven't been able to break in ;)

The trash can is very solid, very good quality, large enough; in researching getting the most for money spent, this can was $20 less than others looked at from other suppliers where the can was only 21 gallon. So it is a great quality product for the price and sqirrels haven't gotten into it, so it is pest-proof as was described., Handles are also very solid; lid fits snug. Thank you for a great product with a great price.

I needed to store chicken feed in a metal cans for my flocks. I purchased 9 of these cans and they work great. I ordered these over a three day period and two of the three orders were great. However, one order of two cans was anything but great. Both cans were severely dented at the bottom and the lids were stuck together. I returned these as they may not survive rain or snow due to the dented lower seems. The driver obviously knew there was damage and positioned them just right to not show the damage in the photo of delivery. However, there is a label on the can and by positioning the can exactly like the photo, you too can hide the damage. I especially like the fact that you can lock down the lids with the provide plastic clips. Raccoon proof!

The damaged can affects ill fitting lid, I purchased to store and protect feed so this will not work as the lid seal is compromised with the damage. The undamaged cans are nice and functional. I purchase online I don't drive, making returning a problem.

Can did not have lid that went with it. 0n looking closer LG dent running along bottom of can . Wary of it rusting out!? Driver took pictures of it. company refused to replace it . I have to deliver it back myself being in W/C with no transportation. I do believe it could have been handled better.

Came from store without a lid and the delivery person took it back to store and now I am trying to get my money back because they keep saying to return it to store when it was and was not left here. The delivery photo even shows it was not delivered here
