Behrens 31-Gallon Steel Trash Can

I'm a firm believer in hunting for the best deals. I recently stumbled upon a shocking price discrepancy for the exact same product, ranging from $32 to over $****! It's eye-opening to see how some companies take advantage of unsuspecting customers. It's a good reminder to always stay vigilant and do your research.

Bought to use as a storage for my rabbits food and supplies. Quite impressed with how much it was able to store. I stored his potty pellet 15 pound bag, 2 hay bundles for his food, 2 containers of his food pellets and small treat stick containers in the can and everything fit perfectly. The only this that I didn't like was that the can didn't come in a box of anything it was just the can by itself and the delivery was so bad they left the can outside my fence where anyone passing by could've taken it. I have a delivery box in the yard with a sign where to deliver the packages and it wasn't placed in it or even inside the yard. Very frustrated with that but other than that it's a very useful product and saved me some space in my room.

I had to buy something to keep the rats out of my dog food. i had a big rat inside my container, which was plastic. it started to eat my container. i decided on a metal container and found this. it has kept the rats out of my dogs food. the rat was lucky, i threw it outside.

They arrived promptly %26 in great condition. They have no handle to leak on top %26 seal when closed, making them ideal for food items. I added a bungee cord to each one, across the lids %26 hooked to the side handles ... so those pretty Raccoons don't open them!

Perfect trash can, sturdy and the lid is such a better design than traditional metal lids with a grip ledge all the way around.. I'm using it to keep barn rats out of horse feed. Wide opening makes it easy to scoop the feed. Only drawback is I can't believe I paid $29 for a trash can but it was on sale and cost twice as much at other stores.

The container was good, but when I got it home, it had a terrible dent on it! The staff who loaded things in my car was nice, friendly, and courteous. I do not believe he was aware of the dent. It is possible there will be a leak into this container. I consider this to be Walmart's fault.

There's little chance of finding heavy bottom steel trash cans (feed bins to me) so these are working fairly well but for buckling of the bottom (I keep 100lbs of poultry feed in each 31 gallon can), and 50lbs of grit, oyster shell or treats in the smaller units) that will eventually lead to failure. It's the world we live in. As long as a mouse or rat can't chew their way in I'm okay. I keep them in an enclosed racoon-resistant pen so they should at my age outlast me. I don't like not having a locking top, but I also didn't have hundreds of dollars to spend. Considering all, a very good choice and I'd recommend for light to medium heavy use. Don't mistreat 'em.

nice trashcan, it does show in the pictures the lid does not have a handle on it. keep that in mind! it does have an outer edge on the lid where you can lift the lid off. just not used to this way with my other galvanized trash can, but i'm using this one for bird seed so no worries!

Came unboxed, no lids. The three cans were left on my deck, which is covered, but there were no lids included. They were not in a box; they had my name and a code stuck on them. I returned the 3 cans without lids to the store (ugh!!) I usually have good things to report, but not this time. Replacements (with lids hopefully) are due to arrive tomorrow. Price for this can is good!

this trash can is not as heavy as others and the can cover does not fit properly. the bottom of can came with a den(which could have happened during delivery. I am disappointed in this purchase, but you get what you pay for in this case. delivery of trash can was as promised.
