I would recommend this rice cooker mainly for its value. It's hard to beat the price for the capacity, especially for families of four or five. I also appreciate its simple operation and the fact that it cooks rice faster than a much more expensive model we previously owned. During the first few uses, the cooker does give off a slight plastic or rubber smell; however, it doesn't seem to affect the taste or quality of the rice.

I like the fact it is lightweight, fair price and most importantly it cooks the rice perfectly but I also use it to steam vegetables and buns which steams them quickly and done to perfection! I use this all the time when I'm in a hurry to get dinner done fast!!! Thank you so much.

Space-saving design that perfectly fits in my cabinet, yet looks nice sitting out on the counter as well. It's super easy to use and makes 1 cup of rice in minutes - it's super fast! I highly recommend this for it's beauty, functionality, and space-saving design.

Tried my brand new rice maker and it works perfectly great!! I love it so much I don't know why I never tried it before?! I actually two of them, I am glad that I did! I completely recommend to new beginners… start with 2-measuring cups of rice (make sure you rinse the rice first to remove as much of the starch) and fill the inner pot with water to the number 2-Line then move the button to cook of the rice cooker. I add butter in the rice for a better flavor. Every cup requires the same number amount of water. Best of luck!

I received this rice cooker as a wedding gift. It is a very nice and sleek style. However I have to give one star because it stopped working after one use. First time I used it, it gave off a burning plastic smell. Would not recommend.
