bed is perfect for our 10 year old daughter, shes made a reading nook under the bed and has plenty of space. The hardest part was getting the top bunk mattress support beams in place and together all at once it took some teamwork but the instructions were easy enough to follow and the bed came together nicely the slide is a little narrow so this bed will have to be replaced within a year or two but for younger children its great!

The slide s to steep

Dangerous
The slide is very steep and has no padding to it. The bars on the sides have a large enough opening for a child's leg to get stuck in between while trying to slide down. The slide is metal and has sharp edges my 4 year old has hurt himself every time he has tried to use the slide.
