Overall we love the back pack. It fits our bento boxes well. I do wish it was a tad bit wider so a drink would fit better with it but I just put a juice box on its side and it seems to go well. Its also a little big for our son whose on the bigger size of his age (4.5 years) but he will grow into it. It fits all his things nicely and we don't have to worry about his box spilling on everything else if he fails to close it properly.
Love this bag/lunchbox combo! Bag is perfect size. This will last my 4 year old through most of elementary school as long as he still likes the pattern! The lunchbox has nice sized compartments. It does not hold a full sized sandwich though. Just a half, which is fine for now while he's still little. Overall great purchase and value!
This is the perfect back to school backpack! It has all the necessary pouches and compartments to keep school supplies organized but the bentgo zip compartment on the bottom of the pack is GENIUS. No longer does the lunch have to be packed sideways in the main compartment, all the food can stay in its place and to top it off, there's a compartment for an “I ice pack” to keep the lunch cool on hot days. I'm SO happy with this purchase and my daughter loves the design too 💗
My daughter loves this backpack! It's great quality. Love the front buckle. It sits comfortably on my daughter's shoulders. The 2-in-1 feature is great because it's less things my daughter has to carry and her Bentgo box fits perfectly inside. Definitely would recommend this bag.
My daughter loves her new bookbag. She's in kindergarten and it's not like those small bags where you can't fit much inside. This bookbag is big enough to fit her folder, books and even her lunch bag when she doesn't feel like carrying it. Plus it has an extra zipper compartment in the front. I use the built in lunch bag for three things her purple unicorn lunch container, sometimes a pair of changing clothes, or my daughters snack so that she doesn't get it mixed up with lunch. You can actually use the bottom for whatever you want. My other daughter keeps her cosmetics bag in there.
My boys were having trouble remembering to bring home their lunch boxes. I bought the bentgo backpack to help solve that problem and I couldn't be happier. The backpack is comfortable, has plenty of space for school work, and the lunch bag part fits their bentgo lunch boxes plus an ice pack and extra snacks. We love it!
My daughter loves it. Nice and spacious, the only think needs a little of improvement will be the mesh for the water bottle, can get caught by the zipper from the lunch compartment.
Great for my kindergartener! The bottom lunch holder area takes away from the book bag depth. But she can still carry her home folder back and forth. It can get heavy, since she is in aftercare and takes lunch and snacks. We also go the bento lunchbox too, in hindsight I probably need a separate lunch box for the bentgo and her snacks. We are making it work.
I like the back pack but the lunch box on the bottom isn't really why we bought it.. I find it wouldn't be that useful as a lunch bag bc the target age of the child and most schools need a separate bag. We use it to send extra clothes or as an extra pouch. Also if it was slightly larger at the top it would be better for folders.. our 7 yo twins really like the designs as does our 3 yo and the matching lunch bag we ordered separately. If it had an option to attach a separate lunch bag that would be good. We do really like the lunch box and lunch bag. I especially like that the lunch bag comes with a water bottle holder on the side.
My kindergartener has only used the bag for 14 school days and the water bottle elastic broke. She doesn't carry much in her bag since she gets school lunch, just her folder, snack, and her water bottle. She cried when she realized it was broken. I expected better quality for the cost. So far the rest of the bag seems fine but who knows what the next 14 days will bring.
