Perfect little rod holder for a kayak
Great price. I like them better than the Scotty brand which are bigger and more bulky for a small boat such as a kayak. They work well and easliy disconnect from the base which is permanently mounted on the boat. They have great preset stops which work well for trolling or just holding your rod while paddling.

Boat Rod Holder
Had to rig something up for my float tube for this product. Didn't quit work like I thought it would in my cup holder. But now, I will be getting me another one for the other side of the float tube. Works Great ... keeps my fishing rod within reach in front of me.

Sharp edges inside the holders that damage rod EVA grips... I had to sandpaper the edges. Also, the nut on the bottom of one of the holders fell out. Overall, the holders are OK, inexpensive, and hold the rods well, but there is a lot of room for Berkley to improve the product.

Pops out of position too easily
When I pull the rod out of the holder, the holder pops up and spins around. It is then difficult to get it back into position.

Inexpensive or CHEAP?
Now I know why it was inexpensive! Because they are so cheap they don't even include the stainless steel screws you need to install them. Be prepared to go to the hardware store to buy even the basic stuff to install this product.
