Some colors seem to work better than others. On this particular day where we were fishing another color worked better.

Worked last year.
Had great luck in the stream last Fall but in a lake, so far, the trout haven't preferred it over the other (w/o scent or glitter) Power Baits. I am thinking that the glitter simulates the scales of a minnow (in a stream) & the garlic scent lures (chummed) the water. So, I will use this PB in the stream only.

Berkeley power bait, garlic scented, worthless
The garlic scent alone proved completely ineffective in attracting the target. I then tried adding additional scent sources after testing it consistently for two days, but there was still no success. Furthermore, I embedded a small mealworm within the setup to see if it would improve attraction, but that also yielded no results. Overall, the attempt was unsuccessful.
