We go through a ton of these on the White river in Arkansas Trout fishing. I tried them in Northern Michigan on a few small back woods lakes and had great luck with the pans also.

Works really well to catch the local lakes stocked with trout. Usually I run it on a carolina rig but they also work on high low rigs. Just make sure to run them on a smaller hook, otherwise they wont float. They are also pretty reusable too!

Great bait

Have spent countless hours this summer fishing stock trout, probably have 30-40 landed so far. Have tried many different real and artificial baits and this is by far your best bang for your buck. If the trout are biting theyre absolutely killer , best color is the yellow egg with orange body from my experience, no point messing with any other colors. you get 13 of these guys in one pack for 5 bucks and they can last you a very long time if you dont damage them with your pliers. Real nightcrawlers are possibly better for bottom fishing but these have great action if you want to fish more of a lure style or you can bottom fish with them as well since they float! highly reccomend to anyone fishing stockies!

I am not sure what the trout see in these little plastic eggs with wormy looking tail, but they bite on these over power bait any day. This color is one of the most favored by trout in my creek.

Haven't caught a fish yet, but does hold on to hook nicely. The fishing hasn't been very good, so may not be related to the bait effectiveness.
