I've caught bluegill on these though they don't work as well as real worms. However, if you're out of worms this can be a good backup option to have. They also stay on the hook longer than real worms so you have to change them less frequently. Be aware that turtles will still absolutely steal them! Also, they smell pretty bad to humans (I agree that fish seem to like the scent) so keep a towel to wipe your hands. You do have to separate them in the jar so be prepared to get both hands smelly lol. Extremely easy to hook. These are really small and meant for panfish.

Great alternative to live bait for my 6 year old!

Feeding frenzy with these waxies. All pan fish love these, prefect for clearing a daily limit. Neon works, pink works even the normal white color work perfectly.
