I was skeptical after reading results others claimed but I'm glad I tried it myself! Caught 2 nice sized rainbow trout within 1/2 hour! The only thing bad was the fact it didn't stay on the hook as well as other power baits have. maybe just this one jar. i'll buy it again for sure!

Been fishing with Power bait since the beginning. It is a staple inside my tackle box. It's a trout slaying bait, especially for stocked trout. Just got home from a morning fishing trip and ended up catching 3 nice 12" trout and a 17" lunker. It was super fat and fought so hard. We had a blast.

Bought this with a fishing rod, but the rod never showed up… so I guess I'll have to wait before I can actually try this bait 😅 A bit funny to be asked for a review at this point.

The PowerBait dough is quite sticky and has a strong smell, so it's a good idea to keep a cloth handy if you want to keep your hands clean. After casting, it becomes even softer and stickier in the water, which means it doesn't stay on the hook very well if you retrieve the line too quickly. This set only includes four color options—I wish there were more variety to choose from.
