Bernat Blanket Yarn, 300g, Sonoma

I love using this yarn to make stuffed animals with, my niece and nephew love them. So soft and even with a 3 year old taking it everywhere is seems to hold up. One of my favorite brands of yarn to use. It the vintage white one but same brand of yarn.

Love this brand but my job don’t allow me the time to run to Michael’s whenever I want. And I don’t get paid enough to get shipping from premier yarns often so when I need a quick pick up or delivery Walmart has been a great help! I’m very thankful got this cream color and a purple and made my baby a new lamb for her birthday!

This is a really nice chenille yarn! I'm loving the squishy fabric as it works up! Doesn't leave a weird film on your hands like some chenille yarns do. I will purchase this again.

This yarn is great for crocheting blankets. I would give it a 5-star review except for 2 things: (1) I ordered 7 balls of this and Walmart sent it in 3 different dye lots; and (2) a couple skeins had lots of knots instead of being one continuous piece of yarn. The reason I buy these large skeins for blankets is so that there is less joining of yarn required. That said, this yarn is ideal for cozy, soft blankets.

I purchased two skens of yarn. The same brand and color, however the color of softness and color did not match with the other. I understand it is due to different dye lots which I may have checked if I purchased it in store. Unfortunately, I couldn't use one of the skeins for my project.

I am very annoyed with Bernat! Out of 5 skeins of yarn, only one had no knots! One skein had a knot right at the beginning, about 24” from the start, and two skeins were knotted in the middle and one had two knots! I hate that my blanket will have so many joinings and weaved in ends. I did have one skein without knots, so it is possible! I don’t understand why Bernat cannot be more careful during the manufacturing process, especially this kind of yarn where the ends will never be “absorbed” into the work like other types of yarn. I try not to use Bernat Blanket yarn anymore, this was a special request because of the specific colour and that the final result is so soft.

Would be great, but every ball (12) came in tied strands. I'd get 2/3rds the way and it would be tied together, get through another 3rd and another knot holding two strings together. Thought it was a "one off" but my entire order of 12 balls have had this for this colour. Every other bernat blanket yarn I've bought didn't have this issue. Must be a really bad batch...

The yarn itself is great, but do NOT order from Walmart. I ordered 7 skeins each of 2 different colors. The 7 purple shipped from a warehouse, and were all the same dye lot - so great. This antique white shipped from multiple stores, and was multiple different dye lots. I tried again, hoping to either get them from the warehouse or at least get 7 of the same dye lot between the 2 orders. But no. They again shipped frim multiple stores with even more different dye lots.

This looked like a return. The label was torn off and the yarn was rerapped around it self..I use yarn for making gifts for cancer patients and sick children and expect that what I purchase from a retailer is not used merchandise.

I recieved 2 balls of yarn the same colour bur the 2 are a different shade. Tvere shoukd be blavk in the yarn. One ball had black but the other one was a faded black. Very noticeable in a blanket.
