On the box the age recommendation is 3+; however, I bought them for my 18 month old grandson and he loves them. The brightly colored blocks are easy to pull apart and durable. The possibilities of fun are endless.
This may be the only toy my busy bee 3 year old son will play with for hours. We had the 100 piece set at first and then bought this to have more pieces and the added extra "windows" and things that he finds so cool! Best brand of magnetiles out there. Thanks!
I have purchased 3 different brands of these magnetic blocks. This set had the most extra accessories for more pretend play. Ages of use in my house is 2-11. Everyone enjoys it many hours. May purchase another set for more creations!
We absolutely love these magnetic building sets! We bought the 1st set for Christmas and then bought the 2nd set because our g'son lives these sets! These are very nice quality and magnets are strong! I highly recommend these sets!
We love these. We have a smaller, more name brand set, too. And those tiles are more magnetic than these. But these still hold, just not as strong. I was mainly looking for a bigger set so my two boys would have enough to play with at the same time and that they would be compatible to what we already have. And they are. Of course now my boys fight over wanting all of one color. There's always something.. lol.
As a family we had so much fun with these, we purchased a second set. We also purchased a few other brands to compare them. I have to say the quality and value in this set is great! Magnets are durable. The plastic casing is strong and the iridescent colors are beautiful, especially when a light table is used. This is a perfect starter set . The variety and numbers of each shape is good too. This set is a great value. I would highly recommend it for children of all ages. We built an eight foot tower and then played a Jenga type game when we decided to tear it down. The children have built Building and Castle's and made their rail cars go through a town of Cubes, Triangular and Square Pyramids, Pentagons Hexagons and Triangular Prisms. The creative ideas are never ending and the children don't even realize they are learning because they're just playing. Even the most uncreative person in your family will have fun with these. Invest some time and have some family fun with these marvelous magnetic pieces of colorful fun.
I have a grandson with Down's Syndrome who is doing quite well, and he just loves these magnetic blocks for building. He can spend a long time building towers as high as possible as well as other creative masterpieces. These tiles are just as good if not better (and cheaper) than the renowned "Magntitles".
The magnetic building blocks I got for my kids are a hit, thanks to their vibrant colors and limitless creative potential. These blocks keep my children entertained for hours as they explore various constructions. However, they can be a bit finicky, occasionally collapsing once the structures get complex. Additionally, I've noticed that fingerprints show up more prominently on these blocks compared to textured ones. Despite these minor issues, the educational value and the sheer joy of imaginative play make these magnetic building blocks a great addition to any kid's playtime arsenal.
First purchase of magnetic blocks. I was delighted when it arrived, packed wonderfully & in pristine condition! My grandson was thrilled! The pieces themselves were big & colorful but the magnets, though stronger than the 2nd set (purchased at the same time) were a bit on the weak end of the spectrum. Structures built were prone to collapse as the magnets were not strong enough to secure them in place. I ended up returning the 2nd set (incomplete/missing pieces & VERY weak magnets). The customer service I received was excellent! They listened to my complaints and immediately remedied the situation beyond my expectations! 5 stars for customer service but 3.5 stars for product.
False advertisement. It refers at least 3 times to case, storage case and carrying case BUT NO CASE whatsoever is included. We just found out that other reviews had already pointed this (missing case) out. Also about 50 pieces or more are plastic fillers and NOT all 250 pieces are magnetic tiles. Advertisement needs correction.
