Excellent product for stabilizing a huge umbrella! We filled with water and the oversized umbrella is VERY stable. So far so good!

Really nice set to keep your umbrella down. You can add water or sand or a mix between the two. I think four filled with water is plenty to keep it down and steady. Each weight about 35-40lbs with water (Mine are filled with water). Very good buy. Glad I got them.

Just filled it with water. Each container (there are 4 containers) holds 50 lbs water. We live in a wicked windy area and the base has been perfect against windy conditions!

I got this to support a new patio umbrella. It was easy to set up and seems that it will be durable, as I have had plastic base weights in the past that have lasted forever without issues. The combined weight for all of the four sections is about 200 lbs and it holds my 11 foot offset umbrella very securely.

The base is large but that actually allows to place planters on them which hides the plain base look and also hides some of the bottom of the umbrella base which my wife likes. The metal hardware that comes with it does not connect easily to the other parts. The base also could have been designed so that water rolls off of it but it does not. It actually pools at the bottom.

These weights are not helpful for weighting down the umbrella. The only thing holding the weights into the umbrella are these small rods. The weights do not go over the umbrella stand. We have had the umbrella fall over on light breezy days.

The stand of 4 separate pieces relies on 4 metal brackets snapped into holes on each of stand pieces. These hold 4 pieces together. They do not counter wt for the umbrella and a wind can topple it. We have.extra rocks to keep the clips in the.holes and hold the.crossbar from lifting. That design engineer is now fired. The only good piece is the.umbrella material and color. I want a refund!

I received the product on time. However, the case was visibly damaged and therefore the piece on the side of the damage was also damaged. Obviously it's important for this item to not have a huge crack in it if it's going to keep its content of water and/or sand. I immediately contacted Walmart customer service who said the seller would respond within 24 hours. That never happened, so I reached out to Walmart again. The issue was escalated. It's been weeks now with no resolution.

Junk. And I did a lot of research on these. Metal holders are worthless, those constantly come out of the holes. When filled to capacity with water, it will not hold your umbrella up and it will also leak. Even with heavy weights on top, it doesn't hold an umbrella up, and if there's any slightest gust of wind it'll lift the entire base up and have your umbrella come crashing down on you. Nightmare to fill with sand. Deeply regret this purchase. Look elsewhere.
