It's definitely a must to listen to the instructions where it says to leave it out for a bit. After being compressed for so long it needs TIME to take its actual form. which was about 2 days fully. It feels like it's more on the firmer side. But I promise when you lay in bed and your body adjusts. Ohh, my God, you will not be disappointed. I was very contemplative on the egg crate style itself but I like it more than my old topper! I always had issues with tossing and turning and waking up numerous times throughout the night. Let me tell you, I wake up. Not even remembering falling asleep lol i swear once my eyelids close, it's morning time. And I am okay with that... Thank you!

I loved this with the faint lavender scent. I bought it a few years ago. in time the scent fades. Recently got another one. But kinda got tricked. It was an imitation . It was a look-alike with zero scent. Make sure you get this from the right company/seller. Other purple wannabees out there hoping to ride the wave of this great mattress topper with its soothing, calming aroma. They'll take your $ and don't mind that they disappoint us when we realize we got the wrong purple egg crate foam pad. And no ventilation like this.

This egg crate is especially comfortable. I bought the 4” and it's great to feel like I'm not sleeping on a rock anymore!! To my surprise there's an added bonus of sleeping cooler. It must be more air circulation within the egg crate. Whatever the reason, I'm comfy %26 thrilled!

Price is probably fair, I just feel like EVERYTHING is over-priced, this not being an exception. Comfort is very good and a big improvement is noticed in my sleep quality and lack of soreness when waking. I am really tempted to turn this cushion over as getting used to the crated feeling is taking some time. The delivery was timely, and it arrived vacuum sealed, but it unfolded and filled out perfectly in under 30 minutes. There was no harsh smell and my linen fit on it perfectly. over all, it's a 5 star product. It isn't a cooling mattress but it isn't hot sleeping either (coming from a woman who has "personal summers" year round 😓😅). This review is for the 3 inch, lavender color egg crate foam mattress. If you're suffering from a too firm mattress, this will definitely help.

I just slept on the floor last night with two little girls on this mattress topper and it was very comfortable. I slept all night. I actually bought it to put on a bed at a quilting retreat that is coming up. But we broke it in last night and it smelled good and it slept good

this is by far the most comfortable mattress topper ive found.I purchased the 4 inch foam because im a large woman and not all toppers work for me after a week or so.Ive had this for 5 months now and it still feels like day 1.was hesitant on the price however you really do get what you pay for!! dont pass this up if your looking for a good nights sleep.highly recommend!!!

mom has horrible hip %26 back pain, one night on this mattress topper and she overslept! woke up rested %26 pain free. Hope it still has a good effect in the long run.

From the reviews, I was hopeful but it did not provide as much relief as I was hoping for. I've only had it a few months and it is already sinking in the middle. My weight is 160 and I'm the only one sleeping in the bed. Also, it creates more heat than without it. I purchased this using points I had accumulated from performing Spark surveys so ultimately it was free…except for the time I took to do the surveys. Meanwhile, I'm looking for another mattress pad and mattress all together.

I wanted this egg crate mattress pad to be cooler than it is . Also purchased it to top the aging mattress on my bed and it sinks into the ripples. It is comfortable but I'm not aware of any lavender in it. I do like the 4" deep size and it fits my queen bed quite well.

I bought this egg crate topper due to a severe spinal condition. The topper split diagonally across the pad and it has continued to fall apart, I am not heavy less than 175lbs, so for this to separate within 45 days is pathetic if you are considering this I would not recommend it. I had a spinal surgeon back in 05 who gave me an egg crate topper designed for my type of spinal injuries and that lasted without splitting and collapsing for over ten years. COME ON WALMART WHERE IS THE QUALITY THIS STUFF ISNT CHEAP TO BUY BUT I BET YOU BOUGHT IT FOR LESS THAN $10.00
