They were great using them with our kayack. Very light. Fell in the lake, no problem. They float

good kayak paddle
it worked well as a kayak paddle, but if you wanted to break it down and use it as a single it wouldnt do very well sonce it doesnt have a tip handle. it's obviously for flat water , i would never want to hit rapids with it
