Crooked Creek C10998 Oar Locks - 2/Pack

These oar locks are just what I wanted. Though the base is slightly undersized for my oar lock sockets the plastic bushings that came with them provided the right fit.

I bought these black oar locks to go with the Caviness Economy Oars which are painted gray. They look like they were made for each other. I prefer these type of oar locks because they don't require drilling a hole through the oar. If I make a mistake mounting them I can simply move them with no harm to the oar. David

One of the things not mentioned in the description is the inclusion of oarlock bushings. Usually oarlocks are bought to replace missing or broken oars on older boats where the holes are 5/8" These locks come with optional bushings. Since bushings are almost impossible to buy separately, this is a great plus.

Good value work as expected.

I prefer this style of oar locks because they can be infinitely adjusted w/o drilling holes in the oars. These fit my feather brand oars perfectly. They were priced competitively, and the design is simple but efficent. I replaced the top bolt with a shorter one only for my convenience.

The title says it all, these work fine, (at least with Crooked Creek oars) and were reasonably priced.

Using them on my 12 ft Jon. Great price. Used them twice so far on some big lakes and had to row a lot. The oar locks work great

They fit well, were easy to install. Just a few common hand tools needed. Only time will tell if they hold up but with my experience I think they will probably work for the life of the oars.

Works as they should.

I like them, they work good for my portage boat. Medium duty, & light weight. that was what I was looking for. Also I like the bonus sleeve inserts that came along with them.
