delightful delivery person. if she has family looking for a job...hire them! BTW. tell her that was a rain drum on my front porch 🤣.
I only bought a few days ago, I dint realize that the wheels locked so it doesnt roll away on you. If over time seems to hold up sturdyness making it a good quality, I would purchase again.
It's very sturdy, attractive and rolls easily. And, the wheels can be locked, if necessary.
I originally got these (6) to put large plants on. I have found many other handy uses for them. They have been used to move furniture, to store a heavy genetic (so I can wheel it around), I love them!!!
Exactly what I needed for my new potted Japanese Maple.
The wood is thinner and lighter than expected. Also the wheels are pretty small and cheap. I don't know how long this caddy would hold up to being exposed to outside elements or holding/moving heavy plants.
I should have returned but kept it in order to keep my project moving forward. These arrived as if they had been used for years - the scratches, and gouges in the wood were crazy. I was using it in the bottom of a closet for an appliance in an attempt to make it easier to reach and position.
Here's completely transparent review by customer who STILL has an original BH%26G plant caddy at least 20 yrs old from when moved into new home so bought these assuming similar quality-NOT SO. The reason I still have the 20yr ones is bc you truly do get what you pay for as those were sturdy, heavily weighted in your hand, you knew it felt durable..what I'd call heavy duty quality. The coasters are plastic but have held up although few wheels get stuck not rolling easily/freely. Overall outstanding buy. NOW…fast forward to these 2025 BH%26G plant caddy's. Immed right out of box my initial impression was: very light-weight, poor quality/ will not last impression; judged its weight in my hand..by the finger (finger weight was low!) had to double check make sure it was real wood bc felt so cheap, low grade quality. Reading other's reviews complimenting how it holds heavy-weighted objects I was like holding my breathe bc I can't image this 12x12 light-weight caddy able sustain any type substantial weight … Cheap plastic coasters again- load it down at your own risk bc I cannot imagine it sustaining heavy objects for duration. I need take picture of the 2 side by side but I can almost guarantee in 20 yrs this cheap version won't be around for portrait . And at this price - I honesty believe I recall paying $6 for the original one I still have. This low-grade quality version is about all it's worth- about $6…not $12. I'm no physics major-but perhaps it's the design with equally measured parts all secured in exact opposing positions collectively contributing to its ability to hold and transfer objects making it somewhat durable… Regardless, any person with experiences in lifting, moving, transferring weighted objects over time earning the ability to accurately judge/grade an object's durability would concur this is low quality but decent quality for the price as compared to the others on the market.
Claims it will hold over 200 lbs (not even 100 lbs). This is not true, plastic wheels do not hold up. Not happy.
I love the rustic style of these BUT the when the wheels rotating as you're trying to move the ceramic planter they automatically go into the lock position due to bumping the wood. Due to this we end up having to lift up the heavy ceramic pots when we need to move them due to weather etc making these pretty pointless. 😫
