Idk what’s in here, but these birds love it! The birds that fly to it are kinda messy lol so they throw seeds all over the ground so then the mourning doves come to eat it off the ground. It’s so cute!

This seed mix from Pennington is the best. I has good quality seed blend and NO fillers like straw pieces and crushed corn. Great price too. All the birds visit daily, cardinals, sparrows, blue jays, woodpeckers, even the squirrels get get their treats. They've been eating at my back yard for the past few years and entertaining us.

This is the best bird seed we have found. We are ardent bird people. We have many feeders in our yard. This is our go to brand and we find Wal Mart has the best price on this seed. While the mix of seed is good, we mix additional black sunflower seeds into the mix for winter when the birds need the additional seed oils.

I was really happy with the size of the bag. I know it's 40 pounds but it's about double of what I already buy in the price of fantastic. It's very happy with the mix and my birds seem to love it.

I compared with other stores and found that Walmart had the least expensive item that was a very similar product. It was a little bit difficult for me to open, and so I just use scissors to cut off the top. The seed itself was a good mix, however, it did also have quite a few strands of hay or twigs or other debris that I don't usually find in similar products that I've bought at other stores overall, I was thrilled with the price of this product and I'm satisfied with the birdseed itself. The typical birds that feed at our feeder are sparrows, tit, mice grackles, doves, Mexican, whistling ducks, green Jays kiss every day, numerous wild birds and ducks come to our front yard to feed. This bird seed mix is definitely not even between the different seeds, the is a lot of trashy bits in the mix. i have actually found Sand Spurs in this mix. Sand Spur, the one and only way to permanently eliminate this from your property is Cold Hard Steel, and a bucket. I have found a much better product @ Sam's. Members Mark Supreme Blend. its always been a very clean, and even blend.

This blend was 95% millet, and more red than white millet. Definitely not as described. I am thankful I ordered the smallest bag.

When they changed the packaging, they severely downgraded the quality and now this mix has less premium seeds. The small round seeds that dominate this bird feed mix are millet—most commonly white proso millet, which is a staple in many wild bird seed blends. These are the pale, tan-to-beige ones you see throughout. If you're noticing some reddish ones mixed in, those could be red millet (another variety) or possibly milo (sorghum). Milo and millet are often used as a cheaper filler that many birds ignore. That is what is happening. Birds are rejecting the milo and millet leaving it to sit wasted in and around the feeder. This used to be a great value but no longer as most is wasted.

Pennington changed the look of the bag, and obviously changed the contents as well. I had ordered this mix for years; the birds, ducks, squirrels, and raccoons had loved it prior to getting this recent, “new look” order. The creatures hardly eat it! Unfortunately I will not be ordering Pennington products again.
