Better Homes & Gardens – 4x6 Picture Frame – Wood Tabletop Photo Frame

I was very impressed with the quality of these frames given the low price point. I was looking for inexpensive frames made from wood (rather than plastic or composite material) and real glass to frame a couple prints. I was not expecting much for this price, but I was pleasantly surprised with what I receive. The wood has a nice thickness to it and a medium tone that matches a variety of decor and doesn't distract from the framed artwork. (You could also easily refinish the wood with a darker stain or paint it for a different effect.) I like that the frame has significant depth, such that the artwork is recessed about an inch. Not only does this allow you to easily stand it up on a tabletop instead of hanging, but it is aesthetically pleasing. It is a breeze to open and close the frame, and the hardware on the back keeps it tightly closed and allows you to hang it horizontally or vertically. As you'll see in my pictures, I repainted the included matting with spray paint for one of the prints and loved the effect. Most of all, I appreciated the sturdy, durable feel of the frame, I hate when cheap frames feel like they're always rattling around and about to fall apart. These frames feel solid as a rock and are well worth the extra few bucks compared to slightly cheaper plastic alternatives with plexiglass.

I like the material of the wood frame, the light shade of word is really in right now and I was glad I could find it for a very reasonable price. The photo frame pops up on its own without needing any nails into the wall. But there are attachments in the bag if you want to nail it into the wall. The mirror is clear and the picture quality is not reduced.

I love the look of this picture frame. The wood is a bit forward than the picture and glass so it seems to be more protected if it should fall to the floor. I really like the color and lightness of the wood. It looks very nice on my wall. It is made with heavy duty wood. I also like how it has different ways to hang the picture frame. I'm overall very happy with the look, design, color and the whole frame.

This frame is thick and made very well. I love that you can use it on its own and there's no need to hang or mount it on a wall. In fact it looks best own its own, in my opinion. The design and picture box style of it makes it ideal for use standing up on its own. The only slight complaint I have is the white cardboard insert. I'm concerned it will get dirty over time from changing out photos and then there's no way to clean it. It would have been nice if the insert were plastic or fixed inside the frame, but at least this way you can use different sized photos.
