Mainstays – 8x10 Picture Frame – Black Matted Gallery Linear Program Wall Photo Frame

I love these frames. They have a sleek, modern look, I use them to frame my Bachelors Degree and my Masters Degree. I love them. I could not find them anywhere else at this price and this good of quality.

the frame is great if your artwork is 11x17 and not matted...but be aware that a standard mat for a 9x12 artwork is 12x16 and although you can trim the sides and put the pieces at the top and bottom...the patcwork will be visible.... I have many of these frames for 8x10 artwork, which are the right size for a standard mat.

I have five "hard to fit" prints that sat unharmed for years. I bought these frames with intent to paint them because I thought they would look cheap. I was pleasantly surprised to find that I didn't need to. The frames look great in real life. And it was the perfect solution to my budget.

Good if you're in need of a very simple picture frame. However, since I did it through pick-up, I assumed the employee who gathered my items and/or the employee who placed them in the back of my car would've inspected the quality of the picture frame. The backing board was bent on the bottom right corner. I couldn't fix it myself as it must've been propped in an awkward position for a while, causing that crease to form. Since I needed it as a rush gift, I couldn't exchange it since it was also the last one on the shelf (according to the app). However, it would've been nice to exchange, or for an employee to at least inspect and notice it prior to my arrival.

The frames were as described. I got the 2 pack. I got this for posters for the grandkids Christmas. The first one I used was great, easy to load, and looks fantastic, and there are multiple ways to hang. Plus they are lightweight. I just received the poster I am going to use with the 2nds frame. When I pulled the frame out of the box and unwrapped the shredded paper is was wrapped in, the bottom corner of the frame is gone. Literally gone. It wasn't broke in shipping either, because the corner piece of the frame is not in the box. So essentially, I only can use one of the frames.

The built-in hardware is not level with itself so you have to compensate where you drill your wall by a quarter inch. Both of mine arrived this way and they otherwise look nice.

The cardboard backing doesn't fit nicely in the slots made for it, you basically have to shove it together and hope. And on top of that, if you add anything in it that is thicker than the paper it came with, the sides bulge ridiculously. I literally have tape running across the back to keep the sides flush because it seems like the thing could come apart any second. I will be replacing as soon as I can. Not worth the money.

On the website the size said 13X13 when I got the picture frame it said 12 1/2 x 12 1/2. So I ended up having to cut 1/2 inch off the sides to make the picture fit. I only needed one,but since 3 came in the pack I had no choice. One frame had all kinds of deep scratches in it. If I wanted to keep the one picture frame I could not take back the rest without taking apart my picture. There was no hanger in the back, so I had to go out and buy a kit and put in my own hanger.

I just received mine. The first one fell apart while I was trying to get the carboard backing out of the frame. A corner just fell apart and cracked. The others I was very careful and had to trim some of the board to even get it to stay on. The corners are very fragile. I will not purchase again, very poor quality.

Wow - ok so these frames are great! Order them often - my most recent order I received they weren't wrapped. One was BROKEN and the rest of them were completely scratched up. Really disappointed- I use these to frame my art that I sell and now I have to take them all back because of the damage.
