Better Homes & Gardens 55" Industrial White Pendant Ceiling Light, All Metal Fixture Adjustable Cord

In the picture it looked larger, but I liked it so I used it in my kitchen instead of where I had planned to put it. I am very happy, it is a nice modern look to my small kitchen. Worked out well

These are made quite well they give off a nice amount of light

What I most appreciate about this Better Homes and Gardens (Matte Black Finish) is that this particular style is very classic and would work well/coordinate with various styles and themes. I could easily see using this fixture in a modern theme, contemporary theme, industrial theme, traditional as well as eclectic. The wooden accent bar on the black cloth cord gives this fixture a touch of personality without distracting from the clean, sleek lines of the shade. The included light bulb does not hang down below the rim of the fixture, and the black fabric cord is adjustable. The ceiling round plate is smaller than the fixture I'll be replacing this with, so I will need to find a doughnut style ceiling medallion to cover the extra space. I appreciate the reputable BH&G brand products and would certainly consider getting other such light fixtures from the brand. Thanks for reading.

This pendant light is absolutely beautiful. So much prettier than I expected it to be. It's a simple yet elegant design, very chic and modern looking. It seems to be made exceptionally well and just from reading the instructions, seems that it'll be a breeze to install though I will have to wait on my son to visit in order to hang it. I like that it comes with a long adjustable cord to hang it in really tall places or you can shorten it to hang it in shorter places like above your kitchen sink or perhaps in the room above your garage. No matter where you place it, your room will be bright and classy. I'm so impressed with the craftsmanship and details of this bhg pendant light that I plan to purchase another to place above my kitchen island. I highly recommend that you purchase this light. For the price point and the style, you can't go wrong.The black will blend in with any color scheme you may have. This would also make a great housewarming gift for someone who just purchased a home, remodeling or just want to upgrade an existing light.

Haven't gotten someone to install the light yet, pictures coming. This light looked very elegant in the ad's and in person. Want to install it over my kitchen sink. Cord is adjustable for height and the black finish is very attractive. Well made and sturdy

I love Better Homes and Gardens pendant lights. I have others throughout my home (glass and plastic) and I thought this would go well with them. I particularly like that this one has the little wooden piece. It makes it more unique. These lights go with a lot of different decorating styles. They aren't nearly as intrusive as you may think because the height is adjustable. It's pretty simple to replace another light fixture with these. I haven't tried to install these in a brand new spot. If you can do that it makes them all the more versatile. Being BH&G I trust that this light, like others I have, will be durable and last a long time. This one is plastic so you don't have the worries you would if it were glass. Bonus: bulb included.

I have a high ceiling in my kitchen. I have installed that pendant light on my kitchen island that looks really nice on my black kitchen cabinets. It has a nice color combination of white color cover, black color wire, and wooden knob on the cover. It has a long wire that can be adjusted based on the required ceiling height. The natural wood finish accent knob looks good on the light. It also comes with a bulb. Overall, it is a good quality of light and perfect for the kitchen island.

This review is for the better home and gardens single head pendant light with shade. No surprises here, it's pretty much what you would expect it to be. The shade is very light weight and hangs from a sturdy cord that is shrouded in a tough braided cloth material I assume is some kind of nylon. There is a nice looking bar of wood at the lamp end that the cord goes through before connecting to them lamp shade. I believe this is functional just as much as it is aesthetic. It keeps the cord from bending the lamp to an angle by ensuring a straight connection. A small but important detail. Up at the ceiling end there is a small fixture that comes with mounting hardware in which the cord comes through with a black and white wire and there's a copper ground wire attached to the inside of the fixture. Not hard to install yourself with some basic tools if you know what you're doing. They look nice and they're economical if you wanted to put up a few of them to light up a larger room. As a sidenote, it does come with an LED lightbulb which is nice and a free one year subscription to Better Homes & Gardens magazine which can actually be exchanged for a cash refund for the face value of the subscription. A nice bonus either way.

Nice, simple pendant light from Better Homes & Garden with matte black finish. It is lightweight made of plastic I think. Not metal like my other black pendants. It kind of looks like elegant farmhouse but would compliment most decor you have. The height is adjustable.
