Better Homes & Gardens 7.8" Quartz Modern Indoor Pendulum Clock, Easy Installation

Although was not design I had seen months ago, I “settled” for this as “close enough” but now living with it, pleased with clean yet livable style and accurate but unobtrusive presence that still has individual character. And all for great sale price w/o looking either cheap, temporary nor make-do.

Nice simple design. kept correct time. i just would have preferred a little more expensive looking clock. has a faint tick if you listen close. I prefer a loud tick. very hard to find these days. ticks have a calming quality in a stress filled world.

This is a surprisingly attractive clock that from a distance looks like real wood. It's got a sleek, yet somewhat traditional design that's very nice and probably goes with most decor. Looks lovely over my fireplace. The downside is the pendulum. It moves very evenly, but is artificially quick. And because it is so artificially quick it kind of "cheapens " the look of the clock overall. I'm not high brow so not that big of a deal, but a couple people noticed the pendulum so it's fair enough to mention it here. I wouldn't discourage anybody from purchasing this, just be aware of the pendulum. It's very nice that it uses One AA battery, though I'm not sure how long that will last with such a quick moving pendulum. Recommended.

Very nice looking clock, perfectly quiet pendulum. Just wish it was actual wood or something heavier than the cheap-feeling plastic it's made of. Hardly weighs anything, but it doesn't really look cheap on the wall so that's good.

looks much more brown in real life/kind of like fake wood pattern. also very light but no one would notice since it hangs on the wall... i actually bought it for my workspace (since i have bit of adhd time blinds just always hate the feel of being late, or time going too quickly), %26 quickly found out i needed to move it to my living room, in a much-less-looked at corner where it's living temporarily because... I HAVE NEVER SEEN A PENDULUM CLOCK GO SO FAST. had to do some research, %26 there might be repairs avaiable somewhere, but.... it became unsettling almost immediately. :/ it's a shame, too, it looks very cute on the listing.

I'm probably one of the outliers, but I ordered the pendulum clock for the sole purpose of hearing the tick tick sound as the pendulum swings. My grandparents' house always had a pendulum clock, and I've been craving that comforting sound to relax with. I ordered this clock based on one of the reviews saying that it's not quiet, but instead you get used to the noise. When I received it, there was a low-adhesive sticker on the clock face that said "New Quiet Operation", and now I'm on the hunt for a little background noise. *Note: I am keeping this clock as it is nice to look at.

I thought I order a black metal clock but instead, I received a fake wood plastic clock. I made it work by painting it black.

This clock is dark brown. It appears black in the photo, but I didn't confirm the exact color in the description so my fault. However, in a true vertical, upright position and this clock still doesn't work so I will be returning. It's perfectly level and I tried 3 different double A batteries…still not working. Will try to return.

Had they given me the correct product, this would be higher. Like usual at this location, they screwed up my order. Wrong color. Wrong clock
