Both work, so far so good. Its cute, not a big light, but just right for my needs.

I live in a state where it gets dark super early in the winter and the kitchen seems to be very shadowy with most light bulbs. These bulbs are bright but have a coating on them to make it not too bright. I love led bulbs. They last forever and give great brightness to any area.

I wanted to replace my side table lamp with these, they worked totally great. I love the light hue it gives off, not to bright, but still perfect to read with. It really relaxes me to because it's not so bright like a normal bulb would be. Will be buying more of these.

I give these bulbs five stars because they are exactly what they are. They are a decorative bulb as opposed to a completely functional, utilitarian bulb. These are best used in a fixture that will show off their bright LED centers. I would definitely not put these in the ceiling fixtures in your kitchen or living room. That is not for what they are intended. They are smaller than an average light bulb and put out almost a harsh light. In the right setting, they are ideal.

The package is well made to hold the bulbs without breaking. You receive 2 bulbs in the package. They are made to fit in a normal size socket. I added it to a lamp I have over my bed for reading at night and the brightness was just right. I think the smoke glass dims out some of the brightness, but in this area that works well. I could easily see to read. The newer LED is good because it produces more light than heat so they are much more efficient. I don't have a clear globe but I would think the smoked glass would have a pretty effect in a clear glass globe.
