I bought this for a dinner tray. I don't have a dining room, so I eat my meals while sitting on the couch. I like a proper meal, and this tray is a good size to hold an 8" dinner plate, a vegetable bowl, dessert cup, and utensils. The size and weight of this tray allows it stability on my lap. The raised edge helps contain whatever is sitting on it. The handles being on the side instead of the top makes storage easier. This is a great for everything type of tray and the quality is excellent, especially for the reasonable price.

My wife had been eyeballing this tray for months. Wrapping it now and putting it under the Christmas tree. Very well made, and perfect size for sitting on our coffee table.

The one is very beautiful. It is a heavy tray and the handles certainly are sturdy. The only complaint I have is that a kind of rocks like the bottom is bowed but it doesn't appear to be bowed. but the wood is great and beautiful

Beautiful wooden tray that we use a lot for a charcuterie for my husband and not to have a casual lunch or dinner. We also eat in our sitting room and love the trays for each of us to put our display of food no matter what it is… Love it.

The tray is wood; it is a nice weight. The one I received had a few spots of wood filler where I assume the wood had holes in it. I would have preferred the natural holes other than that wood filler. I couldn't rate it as low as I should because for the price, this is a bargain. I am going to use it as a TV tray to eat on. I would not want this as a nice serving tray though. If you are going to use it to decorate with, it would be great because you can cover the blemishes with decor.

I bought this to present food at Christmas. It's a beautiful tray and appears well-made but after just one washing (no soaking), the color has already faded quite a bit, especially on the edges. Hopefully some mineral oil will make it rich-colored again, but we will see. If you buy it, you might as well get some oil too.

They say this is a wooden tray, but it has a thick plastic finish on it. That should make it more durable, I guess, but it doesn't have the feel I expected. It's reasonably attractive. I was surprised that it didn't have any kind of packaging around it. Definitely you're going to want to wash it when you get it. It's large enough for a turkey or some other large piece of meat.

I had my hopes high for this platter. I was gonna get one for our boys but bought one to see how nice it is and I was let down. The delivery person left the platter upside down on my brick step. It wasn't in a box or wrapped. The wood glue wasn't done right and shows on the ends. Some of the glue managed to get the topside of the platter, as well. Had it been done properly it would make an awesome gift. But I'm too embarrassed to give this to anyone and we definitely don't want it. What a waste!

2 of the 4 boards came completely cracked and they are unable to replace them, so now I have to go to the store to return them. Won't buy again- target would never.

I ordered a BED tray, WITH LEGS, so my dying wife in Hospice care could eat meals while still in bed. The online order info said it was in stock. After ordering, without asking me, an ordinary serving tray, WITHOUT LEGS, of low quality was substituted and delivered with no packaging. I brought it to the dumpster, not wanting to have to deal with the paperwork of a return policy, and having no use for it. To top it off, I paid for expedited shipping. My wife is now passed. Before she passed, I successfully order a bed tray from Amazon. Only Amazon for me from now on.
