This dish set is gorgeous and durable. I highly recommend it. The plates and bowls get warm in the microwave on 2 minutes, but cool down quickly within seconds. The bowls are 28 oz, just right for oatmeal, soup, salads, cereal. They fit nicely in the cabinet. They require a dishwasher where the top shelf is raised higher than standard. They wash up easily and no utensil black streaks. They are heavy, but arrived un-broken in a well-padded box. Great buy!

I only purchased this item because my mother asked for it and the only place I could find the set was Walmart. Since it was her birthday, I got it but it will be a long time before I shop at Walmart again. I haven't gone in there in a LONG time.

Simple, yet very pretty set from BH %26 G. I like the size of the plates and bowl. The only thing that was missing was mugs. They should be included with the set.

These are really nice dishes. They are sturdy and yet fancy enough to serve a nice meal on. The only problem is they are hard to find. I am not sure if they are being discontinued or not. I noticed that they are now made in Vietnam and they were made in China so maybe that was the issue. Assuming you can find them I would definitely get them.
