I bought these to see if I could achieve the actual fire flickering effect for my front porch. I was so pleased that I bought another set for by my garage! Definitely recommend if you like the natural look

Realistic gas lamp appearance, this light is more a aesthetics than light.

I absolutely love this. Looks like real candles burning.

received %26 installed 20; 1 died after a day; 1 works 'backwards' from the rest - turning on to steady/solid, then goes to flicker mode after brief off/on cycle; the 'randomness' of the flicker flame isn't random enough: I have 16 in one light fixture %26 when it initially turns on the entire fixture pulsates because all the flickering is identical; after a few brief seconds they get out-of-phase, giving the fixture a nice twinkling effect but after a bit a majority get back into phase - it looks cheesy; a better circuit could randomize all elements of the flicker, eliminating the periodic, in-phase cheesy pulsating look. Other improvements: 4x the brightness when on steady so it could be used as more than just a night light; make the flame look more realistic. At this price point it's an ok product. Beats the incandescent version which burns-out much sooner and takes 3x or 4x the watts to equal the brightness, although those flicker a much more random pattern.

They advertise 15 years life but details reveal based on 3 hours a day so is no longer life than others. Too bright for night light.

Good quality but, for me, the candle flickering is unnatural. Didn't return but not currently using.

The flicker only lasted a couple days!
