These bulbs are an excellent choice for a candelabra type bulb with a standard socket base, not too bright and will set the mood in an open view lamp. The quality of the bulb seems to be one of the better made bulbs.

Amber glow is ok for a LED bulb. Would like to find them in 25W.

I was looking for dark amber, I thought these bulbs were going to work. They're nicely tipped, still too bright. I have two lamps which require 3 bulbs each in my livingroom. My old amber bulbs were very dark which didn't blind me and the watts were lower. It's very hard to find the lower watt dark amber. These are great if you're lamp only requires one bulb, however 3 bulbs of this wattage is too bright!

Truthfully, I haven't used them yet but it's such a good value. I couldn't pass it up. Have you seen the price of lightbulbs?! The LED will last so much longer and because of the amber color of the led won't bother my eyes.
