This closet organizer is wonderful! It has 4 box shelves at the top and a clothes bar at the bottom. It is designed to give more room in any area you hang it, so useful and very durable. Getting it ready to hang was a snap, the only thing you actually have to put together is the clothes bar and all you do is push through the holes at the bottom then snap the two pieces together and it is ready. I chose to stack my sheet sets in the boxes and hang my leggings at the bottom, since I wear leggings all the time at home. This organizer is made with a Polyester and Cotton blend, feels like canvas and is very strong. I recommend the organizer to everyone, it can be used for so many things such as a baby's room, actually any age child or for your own closet. Even better get extras so the whole family can have one.
These are awesome. I just snapped the bar together and unfolded the shelves. They seem very sturdy. Each shelf will hold about 8-10 of my medium sized sweaters. That would be a lot more of smaller or children's clothes. I like the idea of a bar below so you don't lose hanging space. It's like double the space.
I do not know many women who have the closet of their dreams. I certainly do not, because my closet is small, crowded and mostly unorganized. We are renovating a home and the closet I am expecting is going to be twice as large as the one I currently have. I plan on purchasing some closet organizers in order to utilize every inch of space I will have. One such organizer is made by Better Homes and Gardens. I will not have to purchase this particular organizer because I got to choose it for my review this month. Isn't that fantastic? The one I picked is a 4 Shelf Closet Organizer, called "The Charleston Collection." The entire organizer is made to hang on the clothes rod in your closet. You will notice that there are 3 flaps/loops sewn on the top of the shelf organizer. You will also find included, 3 metal hooks. To hang the organizer up, you simply slide the hook through the flaps/loops and then hang it up. The hooks fit perfectly over the clothes rod. These "shelves" are actually, 4 Polyester and Cotton cubbyholes. These cubbyholes are attractive and sturdy. They can hold up to 13 pounds of items. These provide extra space for most anything you want to put in them. To name a few items; folded clothes, pajamas, shoes, hats, wallets, and clutches. If you need to put reading material, make-up, or maybe even some of your children's toys in the cubbyhole, go ahead. There are no specific items named because it is a multipurpose, reinforced space, ready for you to use. Just remember the 13 pound weight limit. Underneath the organizer is a space to hang an extra clothes rod. The rod is included and is very simple to slide into both sides and re-connect in the center. You can hang some clothes there or if you have to share a closet then your husband might want to hang a few of his clothing items there. The ability to hang clothes below the organizer shows that you did not give up any extra hanging space when you put this helpful, handy organizer in your closet. All of the spaces in this sleek modern unit, are easily reachable and you will be amazed at the space you have left in the closet. I like the way this looks hanging in my closet. The amount of storage space it offers me is useful and it comes in handy when I start to look for my things. The Better Homes and Garden 4 Shelf Closet Organizer, "The Charleston Collection" is what I am talking about. You can also find other Better Homes and Gardens products, in "The Charleston Collection," for other aspects of your closet. I can't wait to finally have a larger, organized closet of my own.
This is one of the best things that I have bought. I really loved the idea of using this organizer to stack more clothes in the closet. I have a closet which runs through back of the wall. So, I could not reach the end of the closet easily. I used this organizer instead. Now I can slide this to the end of the closet(where I cannot reach easily) and pull this when I need it. I love how this looks, simple design yet very sturdy and holds everything that I need to put in. The extra storage space for belts and ties are so thoughtful. Overall, I loved this and would highly recommend this to anyone buying.
This organizer is perfect for me. It doesn't take up a lot of room in my closet. I love the hanging bar below the four shelves to hang additional clothes. The best feature of this closet organizer is how strong and durable it is. The metal hooks will hold at least 10 to 15 pounds of clothing, shoes, purses, or any other items you want to include. The metal bar can hold belts and ties as well as clothing like pants and blouses. The fabric is heavy canvas that will last a long time just like the reinforced metal supports, hooks and clothing bar. I am very glad I chose this item – it's definitely a multi-purpose storage solution for your closet.
This BHG closet organizer helped to organize my husbands clothes. Previously items were stored on the top shelf. Now all of the items are stored on the 4 shelf organizer. This organizer keeps everything neatly tucked away!
I have tried other organizers in the past but this one I love. It is very sturdy, was easy to set up, uses up little space and has better features. I am using it in my sewing room closet. The existing hanging rods were very tall for me and shelving requires me to use a stool to reach. This will allow me to reach items without resorting to using a ladder or a step stool. I loaded it with a lot of different fabrics and it never sagged. It used so little space in the closet but was able to remove so much from the existing shelving. I like that it is easily moved about on the hanging rod and that I didn't lose hanging space by the rod underneath the organizer. I definitely see myself purchasing more of these in the future to enhance my closet space.
This Better Homes and Gardens closet storage organizer is a simple way to add some additional organization to your closet. There are four cubes made of a durable gray fabric that each measure a little over twelve inches so the total measurements are nearly twenty five inches wide, twenty three inches tall and twelve and a half inches deep. Each cube can holds up to thirteen pounds. Installation is simply with three strong metal hooks that hold up the organizer by hanging them over you existing closet rod. There is also a attached metal bar that hangs below the storage cubes so that you can use the space below for hanging shorter items. To install the metal bar you insert one half into each side and connect them in the center by sliding one end into the other, depressing the button and turn until it pops out through the hole. The cubes are good for storing purses, sweaters, accessories, or shoes, just about anything you need to store while still keeping it handy and accessible. It allows you to make the best of whatever closet space you have and it works well with other closet organizers as well as stand-alone garment racks. My only downside to this organizer is that, at least in my closet, the lower bar is too low to hang my shirts or pants. This of course would be different depending on the height of you hanging rod.
This little organizer pretty much does what it says it is going to do, and if you do need to separate some items in your closet, it will do that for you, IF your items are not too heavy. This unit is easy to set up (I didn't even read the enclosed instruction sheet), just hang it on the sturdy included hooks on your closet pole, insert the rod, and you're ready to go. However, it DOES take up quite a lot of room, probably 25 inches top to bottom, if you're going to use the pole included with it, so it is important to include that in your calculations. I had to rearrange a couple of things I had not planned to in my walk-in closet to get this to fit because it's a bit bulky. In other words, I took all my gift-wrapping supplies out of two baskets and put them in these four cubbies. So I cleared out the two baskets, but I'm thinking these four cubbies are taking up more room.... the jury is still out on that! It does give me more room to hang scarves and things from, so that is useful, but I had to move things out of the way for it! You'll need to decide for yourself! My only complaint is that I could not put as much as I wanted to in each "cubby" because it started to sag a bit (see picture) when I began to add a bit too much. The label claims each "shelf" will hold up to 13 pounds, but the shelf I was putting things into barely had 2 pounds in it when it starting noticeably sagging! Other than that, it looks very nice, the material is sturdy, with 3 hangers it definitely is strong enough, and the added pole for hanging is a plus, so I think it's cost-effective and will be a great addition for most closets that need extra storage!
I put this in my sons closet to clean up some space. It was very easy to set up and I like that it had a pole underneath it for extra hanging space. My sons closet is not big this takes up about half of the closet space. I put my sons jeans in it. Not sure how it will hold up over time. The selfs are starting to bend already.
