This thing is a beast. It's pretty heavy duty. The legs are solid, the top is wide and larger than a typical ironing board and it includes an iron rest and a little shelf. I like that it's height adjustable so you can go up or down as needed. You do need a little bit more space with something of this size. This would be for someone who irons a lot and has a little extra room to spare.

I actually purchased this ironing board for my daughter to pick up from her Walmart. She says it is great and is the exact one that we have at our house that we have been using for years. I have no complaints at all about the one that we have ... unless they could develop one that irons our clothes for us (LOL). Who knows ... I may buy one for my other child some day!!

I am a quilter and have used a standard sizes ironing board for years. I've always wanted a wider one and I finally decided to purchase this one. I love it!! It's very sturdy and the Iron Rest is steel so you can set your hot iron on it and get it out of the way when you are ironing wide items. I highly recommend this ironing board and I'm glad I did myself a favor and bought it.

I'm not sure why this received bad reviews, but the one I received is solid and sturdy. The cover and padding are fine, not thick, but not too thin. It opens and closes very smoothly with little noise. It has a nice wide top to iron on and stores nicely. This is not your standard board from back in the day. It is a little on the expensive side, but they all are now. Overall, Im glad I ordered this and I would recommend to anyone.

I absolutely love this Better Homes and Gardens Wide Top Ironing Board! The build is truly heavy-duty and feels very stable, which makes ironing so much easier. The wide, broad surface is a huge plus — it gives plenty of room to spread out fabrics, and it's especially helpful for saree pleating. I can lay the saree flat without constantly readjusting it, and it saves so much time. The built-in iron rest is very convenient, and the adjustable height makes it comfortable to use for long ironing sessions. Overall, this is a sturdy, well-designed ironing board that's totally worth it. Highly recommended!

I like that the board itself is wider than the standard ironing boards and the iron holder takes up a notch more. The folding rack attached to the bottom of the ironing board makes it easier and little more fun for me to iron. Would definitely recommend! Very sturdy, strong and stable.

The item itself is fantastic! I'm giving 2/5 stars because I ordered two but only received one. While I was refunded for the missing item, I was disappointed that the sale price wasn't honored and that Walmart didn't send a replacement after restocking. If this issue had been resolved, I would gladly give 5/5 stars.

This is the 2nd time I purchased this ironing board and I am still disappointed. For $50 you think it would be easy to open- but the handle is on the left and under the bar that has to extend out. It is wider than the typical ironing boards which we like- but it really isn't designed well.

I was excited to receive this item, I've been looking for an ironing board like this for awhile, and the price was great. At opening the package and standing it up I noticed that one sude is shorter than the other 3 sides. I don't see any visible damage that would cause this. Very disappointed.

The legs on this ironing board are not even. The ironing board wobbles which is dangerous with a hot iron. We returned one ironing board for another one but the replacement had the same issue. I think they have a manufacturing defect. I'm returning the second ironing board too. Too bad, as it could have been a good product otherwise.
