I was in the market for a new iron but really enjoyed the stand up steam option. It definitely saves trips to the dry cleaner in a pinch. The cleaning function is great. You have to get distilled water to use this. Please don't purchase and use tap water which will otherwise clog the steaming vents and you'll get build up. Never had that issue with this model. A

this is is a great iron. I was not really sure if I should get this iron because the price was really reasonable but believe me I WAS PLEASANTLY SURPRISED. IT'S a beautiful iron work greàt the steam is perfect I love this iron . it's light weight , look good got all the bells ànd whistles for $20. get a couple of them.

excellent iron for the price. this just replaced an expensive, nearly $100 ceramic iron that the ceramic tip of the ironing plate fell off of. HIGHLY RECIMMEND THIS black and decker iron with the stainless steel plate, it's far superior at ironing fabric and creating steam over more expensive ceramic types (which I will never again purchase)

I really like this iron I bought. It’s like to lift an iron so well with a lot of steam.. however there’s just one thing I don’t like about the cord that when you lay the iron down on the ironing board the cord to the iron gets in the way I don’t know if I can explain it. But all in all it like a dream and I’m glad I bought it.

My expensive iron broke and since I don’t iron that much I decided to purchase a more affordable one. Although this iron is so much lighter than my old one it still does everything my old one did. Hopefully it will last a while.

This iron does just as it says it would do it heats. It has good heating plate and the holes do not leave spots on my material. I’ve not put water in it yet, but I’m going to try that in the next couple of days but so far, I really like this iron even though it’s cheapit’s still a goodbye

Pros: 1. You can change the temperature with the dial to several different levels. My old iron just had high, medium and low. 2. You are supposed to use just plain old tap water in it instead of having to buy distilled water for it. Wonderful! 3. It has a nice large water reservoir so you can iron for a while before you have to fill it, and it's easy to see the water level. 4. It has a cover over the reservoir fill opening so if you are like me and always leave the iron sitting on the ironing board, you don't have to worry about dust getting in the reservoir over time. 5. It works well!!! My old one had been clogged up for a long time so I had forgotten how nice a steam iron can be! Cons: 1. You can't turn off the steam on high heat if you need to use a dry iron on something. The directions say you need to turn the iron upside down to dump the water out first and a couple other steps before you use a hot, dry iron. 2. The iron doesn't beep when it is heated up and ready to use, and I imagine it is the same if you have it on for a period of time before it automatically shuts off. My old one would let me know. 3. The handle is metallic, and I went out of the room for a sec, and when I came back to finish ironing I got a pretty good static shock when I went to pick up the iron!!! That was not cool at all, and I was pretty leery the rest of my ironing session. That's why I gave this iron only four stars.

This lightweight iron is easy to use. It did not come with a water container to fill up the tank, thankfully I kept the one from my previous iron so I’m using that. My main issue is with the water and mineral deposits on clothes whilst ironing: the white powder deposits can be shaken off once the area dries but the water seems to leave a stain on the clothing. I’m considering returning this iron due to this reason.

This iron doesn’t seem to get hot enough. It makes me work extra hard to get the wrinkles out of some fabrics. If ironing light weight fabrics with just a few wrinkles, it’s okay, but for deep wrinkles and creases, it seems to take forever to get it done.

Purchase this iron as a temporary replacement until the iron I wanted becomes available however it was useless as its performance is terrible. It has to be at its maximum heating setting to iron even a silk blouse. As for jeans… forget about it. It takes forever to get wrinkles out. I hope my review helps someone else.
