Mainstays Over-the-Door Iron & Ironing Board Holder – Space-Saving Steel Storage Rack, White

Never had one of these before - I am elderly with a really bad back, and thought I might need help to assemble this, but I was able to do it myself very easily. I love this item - I live in a very small apartment, but this fits neatly over my bedroom door, holding my iron AND my ironing board!

Perfect fit over my linen closet/utility door, couldn't have asked for better, I was shocked how perfect of a fit it was. Assembly took 30 seconds. I'm not able to put my iron in vertically which is kind of a bummer bc now I have to wait longer for my item to cool down before hanging it horizontally or I'll burn my hands. This item is basically perfect in every regard except wish there was more clearance to hang vertically or maybe I'm not using it right but my iron is hefty

Does not look exactly as pictured and I like it better. Stores both the ironing board and iron, and includes cord storage. I was able to loop the cord through the iron handle to better secure the iron to the door. Works with my Y shaped iron legs. Pleased so far.

This is sturdy %26 holds my oversized 18" wide ironing board that weights 11.6%23. The directions threw me off but with so few parts %26 looking at a picture I got. Totally disappointed that it holds the iron SIDEWAYS NOT UP %26 down as the picture shows. The water could run out I believe, tho haven't tested it, so I hang the iron with water at half level or less. The hooks over the door are sturdy %26 fit my old farm house door. I can remove the ironing board fine without it pulling the holder with it. Yes it can bang against the door if you enter %26 exit fast. Like a kid?

Item I received was not the item in the description. The item in the description shows the iron in the vertical position and the item I received places the iron in the horizontal position. I actually think I like the item I received better than the item in the description.

I put this in my extra bedroom on the closet door. Easy to set up and figure out. Good storage solution for these items. Fits over standard door. Pads on the hardware prevent scuffing of the door.

Flimsy design. I liked the old design where the iron just slipped into a compartment for storage. This one is designed to hang the iron from the front of the holder by its handle and then wad up the cord and hang it just above the iron. I only picked this one because all of the others were too long before even adding the ironing board causing it to not fit properly behind the door. I also had to move the arms of the ironing board holder, which attach separately, up to the bar above it to make it short enough to fit behind the door without resting on the floor. Then I had to pad it with some material in a couple of places because it banged up against and scraped the door when I opened and closed it. I could have gone with just a hanger for the ironing board but I would have had to find a place to store the iron which kind of defeats the purpose.

Ordered online and it was missing the door hanger and ironing board hanger hardware. I returned it. I noticed it was missing parts when I shopped in the store last spring. Assumed (silly me) that when I saw it available online they had new stock (silly me again). Walmart has put the same returned defective item back on the shelf, again! Do better with your quality control Walmart.

The item I received had the same name and description on the package but was not as shown on the picture. The product I received was not designed to attached the iron upright. It was designed to attached the iron by the handle sideways. I had to repair drywall holes from installing it and buy a new iron/ironing board mount.

this over the door ironing board organizer was broken when i received it. it is very flimsy. not worth the $12.95 i paid. . please refund my money.
