Mainstays Kitchen Trash Can, 13 Gallon Plastic Garbage Bin with Swing Top Lid, Black

This is my favorite indoor trash can. It is as perfect as can be. I really appreciate the swing lid style. It makes it so easy to open lid to put garbage inside. You barely have to touch lid with a finger tip. Your hands stay clean. The style with the peddle is a bit difficult to operate for mature people - having to balance on one foot for a moment. The garbage can style where you must remove entire lid to place a small piece of garbage inside allows the garbage odor to come wafting up. Plus: This swing lid trash can looks good and is really economical.

I was given a beautifully expensive trash can. Step on bottom to raise lid, nice and shiny metal, and an insert trash compartment, blah blah blah. All these fancy trash cans are just ridiculous. They are heavy, kids already bent the metal can, insert trash compartment is more trouble trying to pull out... I love a nice, tall, simple trash can that I can easily maneuver around the kitchen as needed. I threw the other one out and got this. It's perfect!

I'm loving this garbage can! I got it last week love the way it looks in my kitchen and it's an upgrade from the white one I've had for a few years made by the same brand just older one. The black will stay cleaner as well compared to the white one and it fits well had it delivered.

Love this product! Just the right size and color for my kitchen . I previously used an open top one and replaced it with this one due my 2 year old grandson who thought he was a trash man🙂. The lid was a life saver with his going into the trash. Opening and closing is such a breeze. My grandson found out that little hands don’t belong in the trash easily when he got caught by the arm.😂

Steralite for me has been a. solid brand and this trash can seems like it lives up. to. that expectation. It's insane to even be writing this but here it goes! So I have literally been looking for 6 months for a trash can! I couldn't find one I wanted that was under $30! Most were over $50 but not good old Steralite! This was not only totally affordable but it was priced at a value, to me! I'm very happy thank you Walmart and Steralite for still carrying affordable household trash cans 😂!

I was looking for a basic kitchen trashcan, and this is it. It's just basic, sturdy, and I like that you can lightly touch the top and drop the trash in. It's absolutely worth the money, really good value. I wish it came in some other colors. I would purchase a few more.

This trash can is a good bargin for your monet, I like the ease of use as well as the convenience of the slim essence of the can, the lid does get stuck if garbage is somewhat near it but other than that I would consider it a very accessible kitchen trash can and thanks for the deal

i was looking at much nicer stainless steel garbage cans that were like $60-70, but i frankly didnt have the money to spend on it. This popped up, and it was designed like one that my Mom had. It was on $13 so i got it. The plastic is very thick and durable and it holds the trash bag well, you can use either the plain bags w/out a handle or the ones with. They both work great!

yes, we all need trash cans. This one is perfect for my household and we all like it. The trash can does not take up too much space or fits right where we needed it to. I like the swing top lid bit is so much easier and this way nobody has to look at our trash. It holds our trash nicely and it doesn't fall out all over the place which is a big plus so this mainstays trash can is where it is going to stay my home.

Lid is not swivel not mainstays and is too big for this can. It is very disappointing. Walmart needs to ensure product ordered is product delivered. Accuracy has been the reason for shopping at Walmart but I think with this, I will go elsewhere and do my shopping.
