This is my second one like this. I suffer from severe carpal tunnel and I can't lift a heavy iron. a few years ago I purchased My first one like this and I love IT it does exactly what an expensive iron does for less money and less weight. My first One finally bit the dust and I purchased My second one. you can't go wrong. it's great.

Light weight and easy to use for my arthritic hands. Easy to see the dial, reach the temperature fast and get the job done. Love the long cord even though it’s not retractable. I tried all types of professional irons with all the bells and whistles in the past. Nothing like a affordable basic iron that runs circles around them all. Black and Decker is a name you can trust.

I am thrilled with this purchase. Such a great bargain! I especially like the visible water reservoir which is easy to fill and easy to empty. I am finding the heat settings to be reliably aligned with clothing care recommendations . Weight and contour of base makes the iron itself very easy to apply to the task of ironing. Sure is a bargain for the price.

An economical iron that does the job. It has an ample reservoir for the water and deals with the wrinkles just fine. It may not last a terribly long time, but it is fine for my habit of seldom ironing! Or for someone who just needs an iron for a short term.

This iron heats up quickly %26 works very well. The face of the iron is slightly smaller than my old iron. However, considering the price, it's a great value. The instructions are easy to understand %26 the iron is easy to operate. I use it to iron dress pants %26 button down shirts %26 it works very well. I also used it for iron on patches %26 it gets hot enough for this purpose. I haven’t had it long, so I can't speak to isn't lifespan; but I did knock it off the ironing board %26 nothing broke off of it %26 it is still functioning perfectly.

This is my first iron in over 20 years. They haven't changed. My motto is, if it isn't broke why change it. It heats up quickly, the steam works well, and if I happen to forget to turn it off, it will do that for me. I'm forgetful but not that far yet. I would recommend this lovely iron!!

I bought this BLACK DECKER Easy Steam Iron for my daughter-in-law, who up until now seemed to believe wrinkles were a “design feature” in clothing. She had never used a steam iron before, so naturally, I braced myself for either a miracle… or a small kitchen fire. Happy to report: no fires, no emergency calls, and—most shocking of all—actual smooth shirts. The “Smart Steam” feature turned out to be smarter than both of us combined. It basically does everything except fold the laundry and offer life advice. My daughter-in-law was initially suspicious of the steam (“Is it supposed to hiss like that?”), but quickly became fascinated. I walked in to find her ironing things that absolutely did not need ironing. Pillowcases. Napkins. At one point, I think she considered ironing jeans just for the thrill. The nonstick soleplate glides so smoothly it’s like the iron is saying, “Don’t worry, I got this.” And the auto shut-off is a blessing, because let’s be honest—this was a high-risk purchase in the “forgetting to turn things off” department. Bonus: The anti-drip feature works, which means no mysterious water spots and no blaming the dog. Overall, this iron didn’t just remove wrinkles—it unlocked a whole new personality. My daughter-in-law now irons with confidence and just a hint of power. I may have created a monster… but at least it’s a well-pressed one. Highly recommend for beginners, skeptics, and anyone ready to turn “I don’t iron” into “Watch this.”

I love the fact that I can use regular tap water for the iron! Easy to use, the instruction booklet/manual is pretty easy to follow and it's short (yes, I'm one of those that read them). My complaint about it is that the water leaks out when the iron is set on it's heel. For the online price of ~$13, I think it is worth it.

It's an average iron, does its job. Please be aware that this iron IRO2V DOES NOT have auto shutoff though walmart's description states it does. For the price, it's a decent iron. If auto shutoff is a must for you, look at other models. It was for me, and I would have paid a bit more to get the feature, but since I need an iron right now, it will have to do.

Not impressed. If you fill the steam compartment more than half way it spills out when you iron. Pretty cheaply made but the price was cheap so you get what you pay for. Product is ok but unless you use an iron very seldom, get a better one. Bought for the brand name, didn't work out this time.
