Revlon 1875W Compact Hair Dryer, Black

I don't need a complicated heavy dryer. I'm a senior with short hair and mobility issues so this lightweight is exactly what I need. Two speeds and temperatures, comfortable grip, designed to stay clean. This would be perfect for travel, gym bags, etc. too!

My fridge iced up and I needed a quick fix and this did the job. I had shut my ice maker off but it was still allowing water to drip and it built up so thick that my fridge made a loud grinding noise because the freezer fan was hitting against the ice buildup. This did a great job of melting the iceberg that built up around the fan. Problem solved. It didn't overheat or shutdown so that was a plus.

I rate items like this dryer for what they're meant to be. This is not a professional hair dryer, it's not going to dry out and old english sheepdog in 15 minutes, it's an inexpensive dryer that I feel hits above it's weight. It's an $11 hair dryer that I think performs as well as some of the more expensive dryers.

Looks nice. Small/compact. Easy to store if you’re traveling. But it gets extremely hot while using. To the point you can’t hold it anywhere besides the handle. Never had that problem with other blow driers that I’ve had. But for $10 I guess what else can you expect.

I bought the Revlon 1875W Compact Hair Dryer from Walmart in March. It worked fine at first, but it stopped working after a couple of months with very light use. I had the protection plan, so I thought the process would be easy, but it was not. The store told me to speak with online support. Online support told me to file a claim with SquareOne. SquareOne said the item was still under warranty and I should contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer then told me to contact the retailer. I have been going in circles, and no one is helping. I am writing this politely, but this has been very frustrating. I feel like I wasted my money because the product did not last and the support has not been helpful at all. I hope this helps someone else before they buy it.

it tore up in 2 days it quit working this is a good product on the 1st day then it quits this is my 2nd one and they both did the same thing they quit on the 2nd day and never worked again

The first time I used it was today and it popped the power strip it was plugged into. The only other thing that was plugged into that strip was the light in my living room and it was not on. I will try using it one more time, but if it pops it again, it’s going in the trash. I don’t need a hairdryer to start a fire in my apartment! I thought Revlon was a pretty good brand but now I’m having my doubts.

I was disappointed that Walmart chose to sell me a used Revlon Hair Dryer with greasy finger prints all over, also non of the usual packaging for a new item. As soon as I noticed all these, I decided to return it without trying it.

Ok I was definitely mislead by all these reviews, but not surprised by the price! Honestly it feels like an obese man is breathing on my hair,,,,,, not hot and the power is really low it has no effect ! My hair is still wet after 20 minutes of using this product
