I got this garment bag to store my old prom dresses in, so I can give them to my daughter for her to use when she gets older. while I do have other garment bags, this one is the longest one. it's about 54 inches height, so you can place longer items inside for safe keeping. it says the fabric is cotton polyester blend, to me it feels like canvas. it has a zipper closure, and a little tag slot to put what is inside the bag. it is able to fold in half if you need it to. there are straps on the top and bottom of the bag to hook on various things and it has a button snap to hold the bottom to the top as well. I think this a very good quality bag, and it feels sturdy and protected. I am not sure it's waterproof or anything like that though. but this is the best garment bag I've ever owned, it's a good one.

I'm very impressed with the quality and features of this Better Homes & Gardens Extended Length Garment Bag. It's a thick tweed polyester and cotton blend that provides great protection, and all the seams are sewn well and covered so they don't catch in the zipper. This is a storage and transport garment bag, not a luggage type garment bag. It's a lovely neutral shade, perfect for a man, woman, or any home décor style.It offers some great features that make it standout over similar products. There are cloth handles on both the top and bottom of the bag, along with a set of snaps on the corners that allow you to fold the bag in half, snap it and easily carry it or hang in your car. I love the way the opening for the hangers at the top is designed as an overlaped flap to keep any dust or critters out during storage. My favorite feature is the clear window that allows for a large label to be added so you know what's inside without having to unzip the bag. A business card fits inside nicely. I just flipped one over and wrote on the back. As you can see I use this bag to store long window curtains wrinkle and dust free between seasons. I'm getting more for the rest of my seasonal and holiday linens, shower curtains, tablecloths and rugs. No drawbacks, issues or complaints with this item, I highly recommend it!

I was so pleasantly surprised when I received this beautiful BHG Charleston hanging garment bag. The quality is exceptional! The design on the material is so classic and looks so pretty on the soft grey color. It looks so pretty hanging in your closet! There are some really great features, one of them is the extended length of the bag. It easily fits 3-4 of my longer dresses inside, without them being crammed in. Another nice feature is you can fold it in half and the snaps on each end to hold it securely closed. With a handle on the other side, it makes it easy to pick up and carry with you anywhere.The convenient folded size fits nicely in my suitcase also. I'm really impressed with the quality of the zipper. It's perfectly sized to grab easily, and runs up and down without sticking and doesn't snag your clothes. Perfect sized zipper pull, even for my thumbs! Outside on the front of bag is a see thru pocket, perfect for a note, to help you remember what's inside. I am so impressed with this garment bag from BHG, and intend to purchase more.

This is a really well made garment bag. It's very durable so this would be excellent in keeping your clothes safe during travel. I really love that the material is heavier than the others I have. This won't be tearing at all like some tend to do. And the stitching is nice and tight. This bag is also made so that you can fold it in half, and it has 2 snaps to keep it folded. Then you are able to carry it with the carrying straps that are attached to each end. It also has a convenient little transparent pocket on the front, to place an I.D. tag or label in, so you know who it belongs too or what's inside. The front of the bag isn't see through so the pocket will be helpful in labeling things that I'm going to store for awhile. I like to use these garment bags at home just in my closet. It keeps your coats and clothes that you don't wear often both dust free and smelling fresh. The length is 54 inches so it will keep dresses and dress pants nice and neat. The width is 24 inches. And the depth is 3 inches so it will hold several garments without scrunching them. This is made of a polyester and cotton blend.

The Better Homes and Garden Extended Length Hanging Garment bag is really a sturdy bag with a nice textured finish. It has contrasting trim and has a nice look to it. it has loops on each end for carrying and hanging. I received the garment bag for free from the Spark Review program. The bag is good for a dress because of the extended length. Cats love to sleep on it too. So be aware that they will try and take it from you. LOL I have trouble with formal wear getting dusty hanging in the closet so garments bags are great to keep the dust off and keep kitties from shedding on your nice clothes or snagging them.

I do not usually use bags for clothing storage, however I knew that some fancy dresses should be protected in my closet, then I received this garment bag. It big enough to storage up to 4 dresses (S size) protecting them form dust and hooks. For my tiny closet it looks to be too long, but its better feature is that it can be folded to safe room.

I took this bag on a recent business trip to help protect my shirts and it worked well. This bag isn't designed for travel, but I had these shirts stored in the bag in my closet and decided to just grab the whole bag of shirts rather than sort them. I was surprised by how "rough" the bag feels on the outside, but it doesn't seem to impact the function at all. I threw a business card in the window on the front of the bag in case I accidentally left it in my hotel room. Zipper worked great. Would prefer a darker color, but this is what was available. A darker color would make me more inclined to use this garment bag for travel purposes, but I'm afraid this color would get too stained. That's the only reason it doesn't get 5 stars from me.

This bag seems relatively nice quality, not super heavy duty. I am actually using these to hold wrapping paper rolls and it is holding up fine. I hope it will hold up because I find this a very convenient way to keep my wrapping paper nice and organized.

First of all, I don't know where the "extended length" came from. The cardboard label says that the bag measures 54 inches long by 24 inches wide. I did measure the 24 inches across. However, I only measured the length of the bag to be 52 inches. The bag is made of polyester and cotton blend. It does have a thicker heavier feel to it. This is good protection for the clothing stored inside. My biggest issue with this bag is that when you open it, it is very stiff and the folding lines do not straighten out to be flat. I really wanted to wash it. But, the label said to spot clean only. Maybe the lines could be steamed out of the bag? Other than that, it is a nice neutral grey color, heavier bag for storing clothes.
