After many years we switched from blinds to these velvet drapes and so glad we did. We love the look of them. Only negative is, once unpackaged they (ours) are significantly creased and/or wrinkled in some areas. I attempted ironing them "as needed"; unfortunately velvet doesn't iron well (at all). So, I tried steaming them "as needed". Which didn't help either. Ultimately, we decided velvet is supposed to do that (kinda), and just hung em up. And by Jove, even in spite of some krinkles the visual impact of velvet definitely is wonderful %26 transformative.
Purchased three panels for a bedroom. We wanted heavier curtains for the colder months, these will probably help insulate the windows. The color is a bit more blue/green than I had imagined, but I'm not picky. The wrinkles are falling out of them. I would order them again.
These curtains are great quality! They are very heavy, thick and do a 10/10 job of keeping out the light! If you are someone also looking to help with drafts these curtains are amazing for that as well! I live in an older home so huge win for me! The color is rich as well, beautiful! I will be getting different colors to change around the seasons for sure!
I love the color, and it has effectively dropped the temperature in the room by 2-4 Degrees. I also love the visual texture of the velvet which creates a soft and comforting look. It TOTALLY and effectively blocks the light from coming through so i no longer need to use an eye mask. In fact, i need to turn on the light to see when the curtain is drawn. Felt it was a bit pricey, but excellent product, works very well on my south facing window.
Bought these for our master bedroom and am very happy with the quality for the price point! They do blackout ~90% of light coming in, and darken the room considerably. I received the green color and it was exactly as showed online - the velvet was good quality, not extremely heavy, and look great with how the loops hang from the curtain rod.
These are super thick. They block light as much as they promise. I bought the green and the color is gorgeous. They are super wrinkled at purchase so I'm hoping with washing they smooth out.
The curtains are soft, truly blackout, and a beautiful color. I did notice the hems at the bottom are not uniform which makes them look a little lower quality. Otherwise, they are great.
It's very pretty but and I'm sure I just didn't read the description correctly but it's only one panel just a heads up. Right out of the box it hangs nicely and puddles perfectly just wish it came with two oh well
I like the velvet texture and quality it's the creased scattered, uneven wrinkles that I don't like. I also thought it was on sale for 2 panels but that's my bad. I should of gotten the wrinkles, scrunched velvet drapes because they are intentionally wrinkled. Coulda, shoulda and wouldas ..
These curtains are beautiful, however…. You only receive one panel. The description on the website is very misleading. You think you are receiving two panels, you only receive one. If you dive deeper into the product page it says one panel. Needed 4 panels and spent over 100.00 for them. I could have gotten a better deal at Kohls.
