This better homes and gardens 5 shelf bookshelf assembly was easy the weight of it needed 2 people, which means it's built out of better wood and will last. It's solid. Construction on it was easy, but I've built a few of them before. if you have trouble there's YouTube videos that can help.

The book shelf appears very sturdy, and the rustic grey color is very nice. I especially like that it is all rounded for little ones safety. So many of these types of cabinets have sharp edges, this one does not. My only minor complaint is the way the single anchor attaches to the wall above the shelf. It is very visible and doesn't look attractive. So I will have to purchase better concealed child proof anchors. Personally, I also prefer 2 anchors to insure it's safe, especially should one fail. I was a little concerned when the box arrived beat up, but it was all perfect inside and my husband said it was really well packed.

I was pleasantly surprised. A very nice bookshelf, especially considering the price. Although the assembly was a little more difficult than I expected (it took over 2 hours and the instructions were not as clear as they could have been), the bookshelf itself is great. Very attractive, there are trim pieces for the front which really give the bookshelf a finished, polished look. It's also heavier and sturdier than I expected. Very pleased with this purchase.

Bookshelf is sturdy and looks great. Mostly made of particle board, but I wasn't expecting solid wood for the price. Only problem was the package looked like it was opened and hardware was missing. Not sure if seller sent us an open box when we ordered new. Called Sauder and they sent replacement hardware. Would definitely buy Sauder products again.

I LOVE my new bookshelf!! I couldn't wait for my husband to get home so I put it together myself. It took a couple hours but I followed the directions and it went together perfectly! It was packaged really well to protect it during shipping. They make it so easy to put together and I love the humor throughout the instruction manual. It is a very solid, sturdy bookshelf and will hold a lot of books! It looks so elegant - especially for the price. I'm so happy with my purchase!! Thank you!!

Great bookshelf for the money it was not too hard to assemble. I was very impressed of the materials it was made of and the sturdiness of the bookshelf when completed I would recommend this product to anyone that needs a bookshelf.

This is an affordable, yet much nicer looking way to store your stock of media. Much preferable to the typical boxy, cheap media shelves. My wall looks nice with a couple of these now. Keep in mind, the product is stable when properly assembled, but a bit too front heavy at first. If you can't drill holes into your walls, it will not be entirely secure until you start loading the shelf with material.

Product arrived with back panel broken into we didn't notice until we already had the shelf put together. Bought this to match our other pieces of better homes and garden farm house furniture . We done had it put together . I asked for a discount due to product damage 20% is the most they said they would do very disappointed in Walmart .

I might have liked it if it ever showed up. They delivered a box for my boyfriend and somehow marked it as mine. I contacted them immediately to let them know what happened and they told me to wait 48 hours. I contacted them again in 48 hours and the representative told me I could get Walmart credit for it in 3 hours and reorder it. Then I got an email saying they denied it so I contacted them AGAIN lol. That representative told me that it has to be investigated and to contact them in 10 days. I don't think I will ever go through Walmarts shipping again. You'd think that such a major store would be safe. But it's feeling like I just lost over $100s.

Wish I had read all the reviews about how this arrives with missing components, parts don't match instruction manual, and various components that who knows if they should be included or not because they are not listed in the instruction manual. Too bad it looks like it is aesthetically a great shelf, but was a waste of my time to order/attempt to assemble. It was almost like they threw parts from two different shelf sets together and a manual that didn't match the parts. Correct hardware wasn't included either so attempting to assemble without an instruction manual and seeing if the random pieces would fit together wasn't an option.
