Wasn't hard to assemble love the fact that when I'm leaving the house I can just take my house shoes off leave on there and when I get home I took my shoes off right by the door that way my carpet stays clean and I can leave my car keys on the top so I'm not trying to figure out where did I put my car keys

It's amazing with the size fits in most places and you don't notice it to build it takes about 30min but it's worth it even though a little pricey if you need a shoe rack like this one.

The Better Homes and Gardens 5-Tier shoe rack is a quality product that I will purchase again! This piece is well made, aesthetically pleasing and a good height. It stores all of our shoes neatly near the door and the top wood shelf is a good place to put my purse and keys. I really like the contrast between the black metal and dark wood. Other than the top wood piece, the shoe rack is entirely metal. It doesn't have to be used just as a shoe rack either. it could be used as a book shelf or storage shelf for a craft room, which is where I will be using the second one I purchase!

Unlike the plastic shoe racks this one so far so good looks nice and looks like it will work. I will update soon.

This shoe rack is not on the bigger sides but if you're looking for something to clean up your shoe mess this works. Super easy to assemble. Looks really nice when it's put together and it's sturdy.

The shoe rack came exactly as it appeared on the website. The quality was very good and was simple to put together. I am sure it will last a long time.

Lopsided. Doesn't stand evenly flat on the floor. It's not too lopsided that it impairs its functionality, but it bothers me that it rocks back and forth. For how much I spent on the item I expect it to not be like this. It's not bad, looks nice and fits me and my husbands shoes just fine. Boots, however, do not fit on the shelves. Since it's the winter time and we're mainly wearing our boots, it's not possible to put them on one of the shelves. We have to put them on top of the rack along the wooden plank. Again, not bad, but wish the space between the shelves were larger to fit boots. They aren't extraordinarily large boots either. It's just his timberland work boots and my waterproof duck boots. Pretty much just ankle length work shoes. This is a solid 4 star item to me. Don't know if I can recommend it since it def depends on what type of shoes you are looking to store on it, and if it may be off-kilter like mine is. I followed all instructions to a T so I'm not sure what went wrong other than just something off with the product. Just some info to take into consideration before buying.

I am glad I picked these shoe racks, they were fairly easy to put together, and sturdy. I have trouble with neuropathy in my fingers, but not bad to put together. It was straight forward. The only disappointment was that the wood for the top was not better quality. I would think for the increase in price that it would have been. It was rough, dull looking and just plain really. When I think of Better Homes and Garden - Quality always comes to mind and this wasn't as nice looking as I felt it should have been. Still out of all of the shoe racks I looked at. This one was the Best I saw and when put together it really was a nice addition to my closet, it fit perfectly and it did hold a lot of shoes. Not a shoe was neglected. I guess I had exactly 24 pairs. I would never have known. I kept them in the plastic container and it added to the look as being very well organized and appropriate for the shoes that way. It was a good purchase, just needed nicer looking wood.

Got what I paid for. Looks lovely, functional, but we had to tape one of the bars on the metal rack because it wasn't attached properly. The one tiny weld mark at the back of the black metal bars didn't really do the job. It's just one though, rack's still functional. Mostly an aesthetic defect.
