Better Homes & Gardens Modern Farmhouse Bookcase with Doors, Gray Finish

Wanted a bookcase for my bedroom and I saw 👀 this one and I noticed that it matched my vanity and I was really surprised 😮!!! So I did my research on it and decided to purchase it. It was delivered and the box was really heavy!!! You will really enjoy 😉 having this bookcase!!

this bookshelf is absolutely beautiful and I would highly recommend it! it is sleek modern and fits my space perfectly. I can't believe the quality for the price, $112. it does take quite a while to set up, all in. it took me about 3 hours by myself and I did end up using my drill because my hand was getting so tired turning all the screws manually. the item was packaged very securely. nothing came and damaged and all of the items were there except for the instruction guide so I had to download that manually. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that the hinges for the doors are soft clothes, this was a very nice bonus. it looks great with my other furniture, I love the better home and garden's line.

This was the easiest thing I've ever put together. I did it totally by myself (including lifting it.) I do wish the back was a little sturdier and the front doors were a little sturdier too. Overall, I highly recommend

I have bought multiple pieces from this line and this one has the lowest quality. Scuffs and gouges on the side and the adjustable hinges just suck. For $132 it's whatever. Would not buy if you have kids. Not very sturdy.

It was a good price, but overall, I am disappointed. If it wasn't such a difficulty to return it, I would return it. There's a gap in between the lower doors. The doors are not flush together. The whole unit just doesn't seem very stable. If I bump it even slightly as I am passing it, the whole thing moves.

This shelf is poorly made, right from the base material. It's one of the worst engineered woods I have had the displeasure to work with. Some of them even came pre-scuffed. "It was cheap," I told myself and kept going. Most of the holes, I will say, were drilled the best they could with such horrid material. Just trying to position a cam screw the surface flaked and threatened to disintegrate. The backboard panels (theres 2 sets, 1 big another small) were difficult to unfold as the adhesive had run out from under the tape and stuck the unfinished sides together. The smaller one's tape was crooked, and as such, the panels wouldn't unfold again. Successful unfolding was only achieved at the sound of tape breaking (see attached), so now my just about fully assembled unit might not even function. A return at this point is not worth it, and if it collapses, it is going in the trash where the company should throw the rest. I should give 1 star, but whoever wrote the instructions made me smile. Why is it always good materials have terrible instructions and the cheap stuff has the best? Either way, save yourself the headache. It isn't worth even the sale price.

We like these bookcases, however one of the 3 units had damage, and neither Walmart or Better Homes %26 Gardens had any info on how to fix/replace/repair or get a partial refund for the damaged unit--- other than take it apart, and ship it back and get an entire new unit etc. So incredibly stupid when they could just address the issue. I guess they expect you to live with the damage or spend another 3 hours disassembling it and packing it up and shipping it back.

I ordered 2 of these. Exact same item - ordered a quantity of 2. They were delivered together. I opened and built the first cabinet which absolutely no problem. Then I opened the second box to build the second identical cabinet. The hardware provided were all wrong. None of the parts were right for the cabinet. Everything was labeled for a something completely different and didn't match the instructions. Very disappointing.

Never received this item I ordered, Fedex delivered it to the wrong house. Walmart said too bad it was delivered even if it was not my house and we are keeping your money.Yes i went through the whole ten business days waiting for a refund and ultimately they said no. So be mindful of ordering large items to be delivered by walmart. It cost me a couple hundred dollars. Wont be making that mistake again. Be well.

Assembling was not easy as only four screws, hold the bottom of the bookcase to the top when standing up it broke away from each other. There is more to the story, but it's too in-depth to get into. I would not recommend because of flimsy connection.
