Better Homes & Gardens Glendale Transitional Desk, Dark Oak Finish

This desk is very nice and sturdy. It matches the B%26G Modern Farmhouse Rustic Gray furniture pieces well. The drawer was difficult to put together because the holes were drilled off by about 1/8". We had to make modifications to make it close right. Took several hours to build due to that. The instructions were clear but they have you assemble all the pieces before putting it together and I feel like this takes longer. I've put together ALOT of these pieces and this one was more tedious. I feel that for the price, it was worth the effort. But just be aware this one takes a little time. It is not as easy as the cubes or bookcases. Mine did arrive with a scratch on the surface, but again, for the price, I don't mind touching it up.

This is a nice desk that is well made and easy to assemble. I'm a 74 year old woman and I assembled it by myself. I love to gray color and the sturdiness. I also use it as a sewing table for my sewing machine. It is also easy to move around.

This desk is awesome! Super sturdy and very nice looking. The illustrations in the Instructions are a little confusing but two people putting it together definitely helps!!

I've had this desk for about a week now but just now got around to putting it together. If I knew it was going to be this simple, I would had done so on the day it came. The instructions were easy to understand and all of the parts and pieces were labeled so that was a tremendous help. The desk is absolutely beautiful and perfect not just for filling out cards and addressing envelopes but for my grandson to use to put his lego sets together when he comes to visit. Highly recommend

Lots of leg room, sturdy, more challenging to assembly, be patient, rustic gray just different enough, Better Homes %26 Gardens might be older than I am (70) offering consistent quality. Bought 2 pack of chairs featured in ad photo. Metal frame and faux wood seat.

There was a small mark on the top of the desk, looked like it was something banged up from shipping although the box didn't look like there was an issue. It's a small enough mark I was able to crayon it out with a wood crayon. Otherwise item is perfect for the location in my home that I needed it for.

This desk is just okay. After it was assembled. I realized my office chair was too high and wouldn't fit under it. I feel like they should have made this desk a little taller to fit the most basic office chairs under them. So I had to put some cardboard under the feet to raise it up just a bit

The top drawer doesn't close all the way and I will have to make new holes to screw the sliders for the drawer to make it close all the way. You can definitely tell it's made out of particle board which is very easy to split the wood if you're not careful with it. Too cheaply made for the price I paid for it.

The screws that were provided to secure the drawers kept stripping. Making the drawers impossible to close properly.

This desk was such a disappointment. I couldn't finish assembling it because it didn't include all the necessary screws. Now I'm stuck with a half-assembled desk that I can't use. Very frustrating experience.
