we have had many Kitchen cans over our 35 years of marriage. except for the expensive self opening can this is the best one we have had. Not a quitefull 13 gallon which I actually like because it means the bags have enough extra to make sure they fit well and do not fall back i to the can.

this is the perfect can for many spaces, whether it's at the end of a counter, in a pantry, or up against a wall it is not cumbersome. I actually love that it is a substantial plastic stainless steel accent versus completely stainless that eventually rusts and is loud and clanky. I love the foot pedal, and the quiet self-closing lid is a game changer.

Love this new can. Solves every issue I've had with other cans. Its slim and fits nicely out of the way. The bags are easy in and out in a snap. I got it in grey. Pet peeve of other cans is top area where bags are held in place and in inside buckets get mucky splatters and crumbs everywhere. Takes daily cleaning to stay on top of it. This one stays clean as a whistle. Also the ease of changing bags is perfecto. Looked hard for a can with minimal nooks and crannies to avoid cleaning constantly. No more worries. Highly recommend. If I had to pick something wrong, not 13 gallons. But probably the reason it stays so clean is, it holds 13 gallon bags perfectly and covers around the rim. Gets my vote. BUY THIS ONE!!

Needed a skinny trash can. Space is limited in my kitchen. Price was reasonable. I wanted something with stainless steel or stainless steel accents. This was perfect. Fits in small spaces, look great and so far hadn't had any problems with it. It does shut quietly. Would buy again.

We had very specific dimensions we needed for our kitchen trash can, and from what I can tell, there are only two options on the market that fit — this one and the Simplehuman 40L Slim Kitchen Step Trash Can. We actually purchased the Simplehuman model twice, but both times the lid mechanism failed after regular use, and the lid would pop off repeatedly. We decided to try this Better Homes %26 Gardens trash can instead, and so far, it’s been a big improvement. The design feels sturdier and better thought out. The lid works smoothly and stays in place. Overall, we’re really happy with it so far!

Exceeded my expectations! Perfect for my parents apartment and easy enough for them to use. Size/shape tucks in a corner and soft close feature works great. Easy to change bags. Overall, this was a great choice!

My 2nd. We have one in our camper and when the motion activated trashcan we had in the house stopped working, I brought the camper one in. Loved it so much in the house as I did in the camper, I bought a 2nd one for the house! And my husband drilled a hole in the cover, added a knob so now I can step on it or use the knob to open.

Sturdy can. Skinny, not big and bulky. Lid has weight so bag never falls in. The thing I don't like about the can is it slides back on vinyl floor every time I push foot pedal, it needs some type of gripper on the bottom.

When we received it the bottom is cracked then after a week the pedal fell off . We glued it back on several times. the garbage bag does not stay secure and continually falls into the pail. Yes it is the correct size garbage bag im using.I highly DO NOT RECOMMEND this to anyone.
