Better Homes & Gardens Springwood Bookcase with Doors, Light Honey Finish

This cabinet is exactly what I was looking for. I'd give it an 8/10 on ease to assemble. It does take two people for a few of the assembly steps. It took me about 2 hours all in to assemble and the instructions are straightforward with funny, cheeky comments peppered throughout. I found those to be amusing (nothing at all to do with the product, but still). It is super sturdy. It isn't something you will pass along or keep for ages being particle board, but it looks very nice and is totally worth it if you want something affordable, durable and nice looking.

Honestly love Better Homes and Gardens. It is sturdy and such a good look for the price. Living in Hawaii, it is slim pickings for affordable furniture. It comes fast and looks beautiful!

Good value for price. Looks great. The doors were a bit of a challenge to align but that could also have been because of placement on the carpet and the floor not being completely level.

Amazing piece of furniture for the price. Love the color of the wood. Each part of it was sturdy and assembly was fairly easy. The doors do have a small gap in between them, but looking at it from far away, it doesn't make a difference.

Great bookcase i love the color and how it looks i thought the price was great but a notice that they raise the price almost 50 bucks more? so even though I would recommend it since the quality is good .

Overall great value for the money. Should note, one of the two that I ordered came broken. Should note, one of the two that I ordered came broken. Also should note that it was perhaps the heaviest box I've ever lifted, and it was raining the day that I received it so it disintegrated before I made it up the stairs and had to bring each piece of piece meal lol.

Some of the pieces did have scratches like it was already peeling. My husband had to fix one of the doors because the hinge holes was placed UPSIDE DOWN! overall it is a cute bookshelf 3/5

The bookcase is beautiful and once assembled, it seems sturdy. However, there are significant issues and buyer beware! I ordered 3 and 2 of them arrived with significant damage. Each one had the same part broken, one was the left side lower cabinet wall and the other was the same piece, but right side. The left wall was cracked so bad that it not have been structurally sound, so I had to order a replacement piece. Of course, this damage wasn't discovered until the entire upper half had been assembled, so now I have a partial assembly strown about my office waiting on a replacement. The other bookshelf got put together with a damaged part. That crack was only surface level and at that point I was just mad enough to not care. Assembly on these is quite difficult as the pieces do not line up well and boards are slightly warped. I will keep these a long time because of the sweat equity invested. However, for this type of furniture, stick with Ikea. At least then you can actually build the stuff.
