Excellent Replacement – Fast Delivery and Reliable Performance I lost the original remote to my ceiling fan — it was so tiny I think the couch ate it! After coming up empty in-store, I ordered this replacement and was really impressed that Walmart offered same-day delivery. It showed up quickly and worked great. There may be a learning feature that lets the remote work without replacing the internal components, but I couldn't get it to function that way. I ended up removing the fan and swapping out the internals, and after that, it worked perfectly. One thing I actually love is that this remote is thicker and bulkier — way less likely to get lost like the original. Overall, it's been a great solution and I'm happy to have my fan working again.

The replacement product had the capacity to "Learn" the existing fan without deconstruction and re-constructing the existing fan. Product support provided the missing link to "how" it worked and the time spent went from expecting 2 hours per fan to just 30 seconds per fan.

After loosing my ceiling fan remote to a power surge, I found the exact same one at Walmart. After changing out the failed controller with the new one, my ceiling fan is back in operation.

i liked the fact it was easy to install. simple and had both the remote and sensor together. took the guesswork out.

The unit to hang the remote from is cheap and a little wobbly on the wall. Have dropped the remote several times already. Be careful pressing buttons as the remote tends to move with any touch. Could stand to be more stable. But it works with our Hunter Douglas fans.

I would say if you cant or don't want to buy one with remote already I would recommend this but the dimmer button sucks. Wish you could change it like you can the fan with several button options not just one you hold..

I purchased the product with the expectation that I was only receiving the handheld remote. I did not need the 3 speed fan %26 light control assembly. I returned the product that included the handheld remote to my local Walmart. Through a series of errors, I DID NOT RECEIVE MY $27 REFUND. I could not test the new remote control because it was not programmed with my currently installed Better Homes %26 Gardens light %26 fan assembly. I would have to use a 20 foot ladder to reach the fan and, I assume, change the dip switches on the fan %26 light controls to correspond to the new handheld remote. My main complaint is that the BH%26G product is not universal as advertised and I did not receive my refund.

It was the matching remote for our new fanlights, as recommended online. Sadly, our fans do mot include a receiver so that this remote can be used.

It is not a universal remote. You have to install something inside your fan for it to work. Product description needs to be more specific instead of misleading customers.

does not have a preset for the light. I have to keep ramping it up or down each time I use it. I had to return it. Lowe's has one that has a preset feature I purchased it
