Better Homes & Gardens- White and Acacia Wood Porcelain Embossed Butter Dish

This is the second butter dish I've bought becuz I broke the lid in the last one. I like that it's inside a deep container. you don't have to worry about the mess all over the standard butter dishes. I think it's also farmhouse looking, which is what my kitchen decor is. My daughter owns one %26 she has a modern, nuetral kitchen.

Beautiful, rustic/farmhouse chic, butter dish! It is quite heavy for its size, and is very thick porcelain, not fragile. The only thing I would change is how the lid sits on top. It covers the dish, but the wood lid is not airtight/flesh with the porcelain, nor does it have any sort of rubber or elastic band around it to help provide somewhat of a seal or suction to the porcelain base. Still love it though!

Great product! It's a beautiful slightly off color white with a sturdy well constructed lid. The ceramic is perfect for any occasion. Easily holds 2 sticks of butter, which is perfect for when you have to feed a crowd. And for under $10 you can't go wrong.

I love the white ceramic and wood together on this butter dish. Also, it is nice and roomy to fit any size of butter cube. I ordered this on pickup and didn't realize the lid sits loosely on the top. I would rather it sealed or at least fit snuggly to keep everything out. All in all, I am happy with this butter dish.

Nice butter keeper, however the dimensions stated on the website are inaccurate. I bought it for hand rolled Amish butter. I measured the roll of butter which was less than the dimensions, but the whole roll wouldn't fit. Had to cut part of the butter off to make it fit. A bit disappointing, but over all a nice butter dish.

Looks really nice. Good quality. The lid has no silicone lining on the edge so when you grab the container to use it, the lid is so loose that it falls into the container and gets butter all over it. I'm really surprised by bH%26G. I usually trust this brand and this was a major oversight on their part. I don't keep the lid on so I don't have to wash it everytime I want to removed some butter. What purpose does it serve? Useless.

I have this same butter dish and it's great. I bought this one for someone else and the lid doesn't fit properly. The sides of the dish are too rounded and the lid is straight so there is a gap. I will return this one and find one that the lid fits better.

The wooden lid didn't fit and the ceramic dish wobbles because the bottom was mis casted. Didn't return it, because I wanted to complain about it. I sanded the wood lid to fit and boiled it to soften the wood and clamped it. It doesn't need to fit snug, just fit in side as intended. I used my Dremel tool to grind down the ceramic. I really didn't want to waste gas and my time standing in line returning it, when I can waste my time more productively fixing everything I buy now a days, online at home.

The lid doesn't fit the butter dish. I didn't ORDER IT TO BE DELIVERED ONLY TO HAVE TO GO TO FEDEX ACROSS TOWN AND SEND IT BACK. THAT IS A $65 UBER RIDE TO RETURN A $10 BUTTER DISH THAT YOU SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT BEFORE SENDING IT TO ME. YOU, WALMART, NEEDS TO SEND A COURIER OVER HERE TO PICK UP THIS PACKAGE ON YOUR AIRBILL AT NO FURTHER COST TO ME.

As everyone else said the lid is useless for keeping bugs out !!! I will find another way to use it for what I don't know,,,, but not for butter or sugar, which is what I'm using it for. Little sugar ants found in it so,,, I can't keep it out on the counter…..
