I absolutely love these. there must have been a bad batch and that's why everybody else has been doing bad reviews but every time I've gotten them they're delicious. does suck that it's $6 for a little tiny thing.
The first container we ordered was awesome but the next 2 tasted like chemicals. I have no idea why, we checked and they are still in date but they were awful. I'm sad because my 14 year old also really enjoyed the first batch.
This was absolutely HORRIFIC. It tastes like the oil they used to make it was FARRRR past its expiration date. In addition, I tried only a small bite %26 there was an extensively lingering bad after taste. Please don't waste your money! I'm really hoping I don't end up sick from eating it.
I was very excited to try these, expecting these to be crunchy, like salad toppings. When I opened the plastic container, it had such an overwhelming mechanical like machine oil smell that should have been my first sign. I took one bite of one pepper and it was soft not crunchy not at all salty just simply a dehydrated pepper, it was chewy in the worst way. Spit it out and threw the entire thing in the trash. That is absolutely not something I would commonly do, so know that it speaks highly of how awful I really thought these were.
They look so tasty and pretty but the smell hits you upon opening the package. It's sooooo bad. Like old oil and chemicals all wrapped up one. Took a tiny bite and spit it out. They were stale and tasted just like they smell. Nope, nope, nope. I'll save them in case I need to torture someone.
This product was delivered. The taste was bitter and odd. Upon checking the expiration date , it had expired Jan 9 th 2026 and it was delivered to us on the 18th. I do'tbelieve that the expiration of the product was entirely why the taste was bad . I think it was just not a good product period.
I purchase the better goods okra, chips quite frequently and have been wanting to try these bell pepper chips, but they've been sold out. Unbeknownst to me that was a good thing until now when they were actually available. I could smell them before I even opened the box, so I should've known, but I tried them anyway. They smelled like paint and tasted worse! They were absolutely awful! I actually had to spit them out in my trashcan I couldn't finish them.
I was really excited to try these and was sadly disappointed. Tastes nothing like peppers more like crayons. These were inedible and had to throw away.
For some reason I thought these might be good. They were not! They tasted slightly stale and were not as crisp as I thought they should be. I will not purchase again and will not recommend to anyone. The taste was just off. Just my opinion.
