Do not follow the instructions on the box, it says add 2 cups of milk which makes it taste horrible and runny. Instead add less than a cup of milk,3/4 cup also works. Excellent taste now. If you make it by the instructions on the box, you'll be on the toilet the next day a lot.

This is delicious for what it is...a quick boxed meal! It's a boxed meal, so it's not going to taste like homemade macaroni and cheese. It tastes great for a Tuna Helper meal. I followed the stove top directions and added minced garlic as suggested on the back of the box. It had plenty of flavor. I also added some shredded triple cheddar cheese after it was done cooking and cooling. Serve with some cooked veggies and it makes a great quick meal. I will definitely be buying more to have on hand for those nights we just need a quick satisfying meal.

It's good for a quick meal BUT don't follow the instructions. Use less liquid because it'll be super runny if you don't. Also not enough noodles for a family of four so use two boxes.

Not a big fan of the hamburger helpers but my whole family enjoyed this one. I do add extra tuna in it compared to what it calls for.

This a good quick dinner or lunch to always have in the panty, you can substitute chicken for the tuna as well.

Flavor was great, just too runny. I let it simmer a few extra minutes and sit for a few but still too much liquid. Will buy again but will try reducing water to 1 cup. And I will add a drained can of peas

Very tasty!! I love the cheese sauce! Very easy and makes a quick meal.

There's a trick to making this edible. Actually, there are several tricks. First of all, use real butter instead of margarine. It makes a difference. Second, use a wire whisk to stir the sauce. If you don't, you'll get those little fake cheese balls in the finished product that some people consider a delicacy but personally I don't. Finally, use a firmer tuna like albacore. I usually prefer chunk light but with this product it produces too soft of a result. You need a flakier tuna to offset the texture of the noodles in cheese sauce (these noodles do not cook al dente). But heck, if you're going to the trouble of using real butter and fancier tuna and breaking out the wire whisk, why not just make cheesy tuna noodles from scratch?

2 much !! $9 is 2 much for this item!! i had ordered 3 regular size n it showed 3 on the order form but when shipped it said 1 so thought maybe bigger size

I hadn't had BC Tuna Helper in a few years.  I used to make it in the microwave according to the recipe on the box.  It was always good then.  Now the microwave recipe is no longer on the box, so I made it in the oven.  After 35 minutes in the oven, over a cup of fluid is sitting on top of the noodles and tuna.   After stirring it to try to re-incorporate the fluid into the noodles and putting it back in the oven for 15 more minutes,  there was still excess fluid and the noodles have turned to mush.  I've made it twice now with the same results both times.  This stuff is unfit for human consumption.
