These are great for lighting candles, almost any size. Plan to buy more.
Great legend in the lighter market. The king is back with a way to take your Bic lighter %26 use it in a grill lighter. I got this as a gift %26 I also tested it. The product was simple to put together and the lighter worked. It takes the Bic that i consider the most common, but the big bic only. The small Bic lighter will not work. So really nothing to complain about.
this candle lighter uses a regular size big lighter instead of being disposable or supposedly refillable. It's a great design and is better than I thought it would be. I threw away all my other candle lighters and plan to get more. I'm thinking stocking stuffers for adult kids, too.
What a great idea to make a refillable lighter! The old ones I have been using have stopped working while they still have fuel. I highly recommend the BIC EZ LOADS.
Really like this. Very convenient instead of keeping lighter fluid around or replacing these when they empty with a new one.
Purchased this for lighting candles due to disability. I haven't needed a lighter or matches for over a decade. The product uses a basic BIC lighter %26 an extension device so you don't have to spin %26 dispense the lighter fluid to make a flame. It averages 4-5 tries with the trigger gun to activate the flame. Expected better quality out of BIC.
Bought these because you are able to put a new bic lighter in when it runs out of butane . these do not light as easy as the disposable.candle. lighters and they cost twice as much
They sent me a completely different item! They sent me a 2 pack of Bic grill lighters that was opened and possibly used! And Walmart did not give me the option to return from home. Only option for a refund is to return it in store and I do not drive or have transportation to a Walmart store. So I'm out of the money and do not have what I ordered.
Unless you have above average finger strength, there's no way you'll be able to pull the ignition trigger. I have decently strong hands, and I was BARELY able to get it lit with my non-dominant hand, being in somewhat of an awkward position (lying on my side.) After about 10 tries (trying to light a gas pilot light) I had to give up because it was just too painful. My index finger tendons actually hurt, and I have no arthritis. I'm only 40 years old, too. If you're elderly, forget it. That said, I can ignite it with my right hand, but the mechanism is SO tight, you need to pull with about 5 pounds of force with a single finger, and maintain that force to keep it lit. If you have very strong hands, this won't be a problem. But if your hands are weaker than average, there's NO WAY you're gonna be able to get this thing lit. I've used other lighters with the same design and they were MUCH easier to operate. This is tight beyond reason. I suppose it's a safety feature, but they went WAY overboard. Reduce the force needed to light it by half, and it should be about right. But regular use of this lighter will injure your finger tendons. I even have the beginning of a blister on my left index finger. Just ridiculous. Additionally, 1) the flame on this one is pathetically weak; and it 2) requires you to apply full force to keep it lit, and 3) it blows out extremely easily. 0/5, pretty much useless.
Did not work well at all. Wouldn't like most of the time,. You remove the clip at the bottom and put in the lighter. The one that came with it didn't work at all. I tried a different one, and occasionally it would like. I will not buy these again.
