These are perfect for candles. No more burnt fingers!

This lighter has worked as intended every time it is used. The stem is almost 2 times the length of the flame. The flame is over an inch long. It works great for the occasion when there are things that you have to tip in a downward direction to reach. It does fit well in my pocket, and I've carried it that way for short durations, but it is not made with a cover as would be the case for something meant for that purpose. The spring is not light, and it is not overly stiff, yet stiff enough that it is not likely to actuate unless you intentionally press down with your hand. It would be very handy with a small holster. It is about twice the length of most wooden matches, generally more comfortable to use for anything matches might be used for. For camping, I would prefer to have at least two of these over matches in a waterproof container.

I started out buying the longer lighters, but they either didn't work properly or only had a few clicks of flame then went out. This one is nice. Seems to work better. I'd like it to be a little longer to light candles, but overall, I'm happy with it.

BIC's been around, like, forever (remember their clear hexagonal body ball point pen with the blue top from the 60s?), so they know what they're doing in terms of product design and I found this model effective for lighting a big vanilla candle I got, with its extended neck perfect for reaching into the center of the candle once it had been burning a while

Love using these lighters. Many uses, versatile not to mention the cool designs they have

I have to say it's gotten a bit pricey I like the smaller size for my candles that don't need a long neck. the flame is good and I can use it for other things too.If I need to. I just don't like how expensive it is.For how little it is

I prefer the long lighters but this will do when it's all I have on hand. Not my favorite and I don't love the size and design, but it works. I only buy these if I can't find the other (bought this because mine was out of fluid and possible weather related power outages so I needed to be prepared. I would not have chosen this, but again it works, even though I don't like the design. I d

I'm a 73-year-old man with Arthritis, and I use your bic lighters every day, but I thought I'd try this new one with the extended tip and believe me, it's very difficult for me to even get this thing engaged. spring resistance is too difficult for me to push down on and hold

these lighters were substituted in a delivery order I received it instead of the longer lighters for candles...... the latter markets itself for that but I would not recommend it...... there's no way to control the level of the flame...... and within just a couple of uses it was out of fluid. this big does not flip it's a flop

This Bic EZ Reach lighter is defective. It won't light up.There's no flame. To get a refund I would have to drive to the store except I don't drive, so I am stuck with it. To return it to the company is complicated and such a hassle.
