BIC Multi-Purpose Lighters, Classic Collection, Pack of Two, Designs May Vary

I really like that Bic put two in this pack. The flexible one is especially perfect for getting down into candles or pointing up at the base of a pile of campfire wood. Child safety works well, decent arc, fuel seems to last a long time, and their size makes them easy to stick in a drawer or a pocket.

really appreciate the design of these lighters. One has a flexible wand, great for lighting multi-wick candles or wicks that are deep in a candle holder and you could get burned if you held a lighter straight down (hope that's understandable. 🤫). Anyway, the other lighter has a fixed wand. Having 2, and at a great price, is handy too.

I purchased these bic lighters to light our candles in containers that are too difficult or narrow to reach into. we've had them for months now and both lighters are still working. Thats with use multiple times a day. I would definitely purchase them again, especially the bendy one.

This lighter should have been around 10 years ago I love it because it's flexible it flexes one way it flexes the other it almost reminds me of a slinky except it's a lighter. The other thing is is the last a long long time. I mostly like candles but believe me it's great for lighting up your barbecue grill?

I suppose that an item like this has to be a bit hard to light as a safety precaution. The result is that it takes a fair amount of strength to light. For younger folks I am sure that this would not be an issue but for people around 80 like my wife and I it is difficult. Actually difficult for me, impossible for my wife.

The lighter is great, but, I am old and it is very hard for me to ignite - the problem is with me, not the lighter, but, arthritic hands, beware. The flex, fuel and arc are fine, it is the holding and pushing the ignitor that is hard for me to work.

It is quite difficult to use these lighter, have to use 2 hands. on the backsid e nhave to push down on a 4 in rectangular release stick, then pull the trigger. Threw away the packaging so eill not be sending back for a return. Reakky disappointing as Bic has always been a good brand.

They childproof and safety feature these lighters to the point where they are unusable for anyone who does not have hands the size of a basketball player. You have to continuously hold down one very stiff button with thumb while clicking with index finger underneath and keep the whole thing stable with palm. I have to use two hands to even get it lit, but it snaps off if the pressure on the safety button is released even a little. For a person with small hands, it is physically impossible to use. Even my husband (a normal sized fellow) can't manage it without extreme frustration %26 a hand cramp. We gave these to our neighbor who is a 6'5" sasquatch, lol.

i can't push the trigger to use it!! It was a complete waste of my money! It's worthless and going straight in the trash! I thought it was just me? So i got the stronger roommates and both have the same problem. Is it child proof? oh yeah oh yeah can't even get it to light

The less expensive long lighters don't last long enough and are difficult to light. I bought the more expensive Bic lighters thinking the quality would be better because they cost almost $4 each. I'm disappointed. The trigger is difficult to squeeze; I usually have to try multiple times before they light. I will buy the Dollar Tree lighters the next time I'm there. Not lighting now and then won't bother me when I pay only $1.50 each.
